How does it sort the concrete in reset?
It mixes zero ticking pistons and a very cool mechanic related with the time it takes for the concrete powder to turn from block to entity form!
Would converting something like the piston crafter be difficult to use bamboo rather than a log?
Shouldn't be. You would need to adjust the number of times the planks crafter triggers because the bamboo blocks create 2 planks instead of 4. And if you want it directly from bamboo, just add the extra crafter to craft the bamboo into blocks.
Been trying to do just that for a bit. I tried triggering three pulses to a bamboo block to plank crafter every other cycle but haven't quite figured out the wiring yet.
Love the video though. Just finished a quad witch hut farm with looting and looking to make a redstone component factory to run off of it.
Might just need to hook up a playerless tree farm to it if I can't figure out how to make bamboo work
this farm works in my 1.21 vanilla world but not on my fabric server
Sorry to hear that. Sometimes due to server lag and timings, stone generators get affected. Unfortunately, there is not much that one can do in that case. Maybe play with the timings a little. But if the fabric mods are not affecting the stone generation or redstone behavior in any significant way, it should work fine in fabric. In fact, I designed it while using fabric. P.S. I haven't tested it in 1.21, but if it works in singleplayer, then it should be good.
Hey, mate! I was wondering whether or not this design is still good to go with considering some of the comments? Besides, does it work in 1.21 or you didn’t test it out on a newer version? Thank you
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for asking. The answer is no. Some people noticed some inconsistencies with the design. Realistically, you can use it without troubles for a long time, but some improvements can be made. New version (final version, truly reliable) should come out soon, though. As for your second question, I haven't tested it in 1.21, sorry.
@@GiorgioJGZ hello there! Thanks for your response. I’ve tested it in the 1.21 and it didn’t seem to work. Maybe because I’m dumb, who knows. The unloader works perfectly fine though. Gl mate. Waiting for more content!
Blew up on the first test. TNT dropped down - didn't land on the glazed terracotta. Not sure what's going on, but as of current not functioning in 1.21. Upon future updates - it destroyed itself.
Sorry that it's not working for you. But I just booted the game in the latest release (1.21) and tried the contraption. It worked as intended. Try double checking your build and following the steps to build it shown in the tutorial.
Sweet! I've been waiting for this video!
More to come!
Do you have to put in the right amount of ingredients yourself? Or does it shut off automatically when one resource runs out? Otherwise the crafter will just spit out nonsense
Oh yeah! I forgot to mention that I made sure to leave room to read all of the chests with a comparator because if any ingredient runs out it will get messy. Thanks for pointing it out!
@@GiorgioJGZ where is the best place to hook the comparator signal up to? Lock the hoppers or maybe the crafter itself so it doesnt get updated? Love the content btw, thanks for responding
Read the chests with the comparator, and point each comparator to a block with a redstone torch. Then connect all the redstone torches together with dust (making an AND gate). And the dust should power the rails/note blocks of the clock. That way whenever any chest is out of items, the whole contraption will stop. Np! Thanks for commenting 😊
@@GiorgioJGZ This was easier said than done haha. was a fun challenge tho. Its not as compact anymore unfortunately
😂Well, I am glad that at least you had fun! As I said on the video, these are more prototypes, than actual final designs. Maybe at some point I'll try to make a proper station to auto craft redstone with all the functions.
Let’s go! Been tinkering with the crafter just for basics (gold farm, iron farm)
I think farm storage is probably going to be the most common use of the crafter
I think making some combo farms will be a fun use as well. I think hooking up a witch farm to a sugar cane farm to make rockets, simple things like that. I definitely will be using some of these designs for more complex things when the time comes though.
Ah yes! Connecting a bunch of farms together and making stuff completely automatic is going to be fun!!
While trying to build a stone-to-moss bone meal farm, I couldn't figure out for the life of me how I could possibly make a stone generator faster-- the alternating timings is GENIUS. I'll be using your ideas to supercharge my moss production haha. I'll probably build a second one just for access to all the stone I could ever want lol
Nice!! Super-charged-moss farms are 🐐
I like the nether portal bridge
Been enjoying your channel a lot since I found it, even watched some of the twitch recordings.
Wow! Thanks! What do you enjoy about it? Any suggestions?
I like your personality and style. You have a lot of energy but it seems genuine and not manufactured. I really like your red stone tinkering stuff the most, but I’m enjoying the progression of the let’s play series so far as well.
That makes me very happy! I'm glad my energy comes across as genuine, because it really is. Thank you very much for your kind words and your support. It means a lot and it helps me stay motivated. Stay tuned for more fun!
i did it on my hardcore save but it cannot fill itself up like it cannot keep up and its just using bonemeal
Sorry to hear that! I'll be honest, I haven't used that design in a while. But if I may recommend a new design, there's the one I showed in this video: czcams.com/video/1IKppVXlYBk/video.htmlsi=irWcdLknq_SiIvmg It's bigger but quite productive. You can download the schematic from the link in the description.
Discovered your channel looking for a tileable shulker box loader, happy to see you’re still uploading content
The grind ain't stopping! 😉
Omg it's the octopus! 🐙
Hi Giorgio. This is really a nice design. But what I most about the video is that it is very very easy to follow how you build it. (Pace, angles, explanations etc..) I tried to replicate it. it works perfect
Thx for your amazing feedback!
@@GiorgioJGZ I made 3 modules to test the tunnel bore and it is striking how well it works. I mined an area of approx. 1000x26x8 blocks. Now I want to build a bigger one (+10 modules). However I'm facing challenges while building it. Sometimes (inconsistent = every 20 TNT dupper I build) when I place the TNT above the coral fan the TNT ignites itself and blows up (I build it exactly like you do in the video). This annoys me because it blows up the other modules too. Did you had this issue also? At the moment it is really impossible to build a long tunnel bore because I never know if the next TNT dupper will ignite itself and blow up. I'm playing on my own server in Minecraft realms java edition. What I recommend for other builders is to have not only 14 blocks space from the wall. Instead I would go for 20 or so. This allows you to test the machine when you attached 2-3 new modules.
🤔 The tunnel bore has blown up on me more times that I care to admit, but never for this reason (mostly because of a creeper sneaking up on me or because I make mistakes whilst building it). But if you build it like in the tutorial, TNT shouldn't be able to ignite. The TNT dupers are supposed to be built with the TNT offset one block and then assembled with a piston. So, you shouldn't place them on top of the coral fan directly. Have you tried this way?
@@GiorgioJGZ Ehm that is exactly why first tunnel bore died after 1000 block because a Creeper was sneaking on me XD. Yes you are completely right. I just made it exactly like you do (video: 22:30), I place the TNT above the coral fan (which is ofc only used as an temporary block) it ignites itselfs immediatly after I placed it and blows up. So... If this never happend in your case I will just use a different temporary block then instead. Thanks for writing back
Oh okay, I see the issue! If you want to use TNT as a temp block, which is obviously not a great idea 😂. I just found it easier when I was doing the tutorial. But if you want to do it because it's faster and easier to break, then just place the minecart AFTER you've broken the temp TNT and BEFORE assembling the duper. That way it has no way of getting powered. P.S. Creepers are so annoying 🥴
Guys! If you want a tutorial on how to build this farm, let me know by replying to this comment 😊
Hi! i would love to! Very nice farm ^v^

And there will be a tutorial?
I wasn't planning on doing one since noone had asked for it. But if more people want one, then of course I'll make a tutorial. I am going to pin a comment, see if more people would like a tutorial.
@@GiorgioJGZ Thanks! :D
Why exactly do we need so many hopper minecarts? Could we not just hold one hopper minecart out with a comparator, detect when it is full, and then use it to distribute the items?
Short answer: That's just the way I decided to do it. Obviously not the only one, but it made some other features of the system easier to design. If you want more details about my choice and don't mind reading a longer text, I give you the long answer in my next comment.
Detailed answer: There were several things that I needed to consider when designing the super smelter and keep it simple. - First, I like to show interesting ideas on how to do things for those out there who like to design their own contraptions but just need a bit of help with where to start. So, to fill up the minecart with more minecarts is easy to understand and easy to modify and make the array larger. - Expansion is the second point. If instead of focusing on getting the exact timing for the minecart to pull certain amount of items before being sent off, we focus just on detecting when it is full, the contraption gets way easier to compact and if expansion of the array is needed, nothing or almost nothing in the circuitry changes. So, filling the minecart with non-stackables (other minecarts) just seemed a good choice. It's kind of like recycling! - Then, we don't have to worry about pulling the filler items (the non-stackables) from the minecart before putting it back in the system. Why? Well, because the filler items are also minecarts, so they all go to the same place. Again, this makes the system easier to design and to keep small. - And finally, furnaces smelt an item every 10 seconds. So, if we want to avoid wasting fuel, we need to put a new item inside of each furnace every 10 seconds or less. To keep the timings simple, we just constantly keep sending minecarts one after the other until there are no more items to be smelted. This assures that there is always at least one item inside the furnaces to be smelted, thus not using any more fuel than the needed. But as said in the short answer: These are just design choices that I made and by no means the right way to do it, or at least not the only right way to do it. If you think you can improve it, by all means, feel free to do so. As I mentioned in one of the points, these contraptions that I showcase are also meant to be an inspiration and starting point to all of those people out there who enjoy making their own redstone contraptions or are trying to learn and get better at Redstone.
@@GiorgioJGZ Thank you so much dude, this is crazy detailed. I like the idea of constantly sending out minecarts, I was just not sure about its efficiency. Thank you for elucidating on it. Subscribed for sure
Np! Ty for the sub and welcome to the channel!! 😁
The tunnel bore machine without ancient debris. This is good because other youtuber tutorials using 3 ancient debris and it takes too much time to find 1 ancient debris

Hello! This video was recently shared in the Storage Tech Discord, and although it is a bit old, you may still be interested in some input: (1) Cobwebs and powder snow are not particularly easy blocks to obtain in large amounts. If you happen to have a lot of them it's fine, but that's often not the case. Reliable (in this case a specific type of reliability called "slice-preserving") designs nowadays use a mechanic called "precision hopper", where you unlock a hopper directly below the box on the same game tick you break the box. It's a mechanic that uses more redstone components and is, therefore, easier to build in large quantities. (2) The sticky piston being short-pulsed and spitting the observer is an undesirable design choice we call a "togglestate". Having it brings along a bunch of issues, including: (A) Building incorrectly and going unnoticed, causing the loader to not function, or (B) in case of an accidental unload or server crash, being left in the wrong position, causing the loader not to function. (3) Having a conductive block above the dispenser is not tileable due to QC. It may be the case that during some interval between adjacent slices replacing their boxes, one of them fails to do so. Feel free to join us over at the Storage Tech Discord server, if you need anything from inspiration from existing designs to good feedback from experienced players: discord.gg/JufJ6uf
Thanks for the input!! I am always looking to get better. And funny enough, I knew all of these things (Just wasn't careful enough when designing it). But I will definitely be joining the discord to keep learning!
for some reason the unloader doesnot pull back the minecart in 1.19.2 even the version 2 doesnot please try a fix for this glitch i was trying every block alignment but all of them failed @GiorgioJGZ
This design was made in 1.20, and it works because of a change they made to edges of blocks. However, to make it work in 1.19, you can just add a second honey block next to the one that you already have and you should be good!
im sorry to say but i tried that too as well but for some reason it doesnot work as well please check throughly why this happenes its like barbed which is it pushes the minecart but does not pul back so yeah it doesnot even if theres honey block i checked that also @@GiorgioJGZ
Absolutely brilliant design. The tileable design still works wonderfully in 1.20.4
The hopper minecarts are just going into the hoppers?
Are you inputting full stacks of items?
Well after a couple of headaches trying to get it started, it works fine, I guess for the first time to start it is better to put 3 saplings and leave the one the dispenser bones meal, otherwise a small tree grows up and it is a pain to put it back to work. Nice farm, exactly what I was looking for, thanks! edit: i tried it for a couple of hours and after a while the 2 bottom tnt duppers sometimes get exploded, mayde few test of 30 min each and in 2 of 4 they exploded. its aligned as in the schematics. and minecraft version 1,20,2 any idea why?
To start the farm, just place the 4 saplings before turning it on. So sorry to hear that! In all honesty, I am not sure what it could be. Just ran it for 2 hours in 1.20.2 and it is working fine. I don't know if it's possible for you to maybe record a clip of them blowing up to better see the problem? If so, please send it through Instagram DM. Otherwise, have you noticed why they could be blowing up? Like, is the TNT landing on something? Or are the dupers not moving or something?
Amazing episode as always Giorgio
just finished the 26 duper with all modules in our SMP 1.20.4 worked perfectly and a much better design than all others i could find on youtube, you deserve more views my man
Glad to hear it!! Thx so much!
I have found rare problem: then bottom flying machine above the moss is flying around its redstone lamp give enough light for saplings to grow. That can be debugged when you set random tick to higher value. If this happens then mechanism will become very broken.
Wow! That is indeed a weird bug, hadn't even thought about it but it does make some sense. Funny, though, I actually realized a couple months ago that the flying machines above the moss are not even needed because podzol spreads even when having blocks above the moss, and everything else will break anyways (edit: except carpets, so this may not work after all. But water might be the solution) when the floor is replaced with stone. So, if those machines are omitted in the design, I guess this will be fixed and the farm will still work. I may just do a version 2 at some point with better compaction and just some minor improvements here and there, like this one. Thanks so much for the comment!!
@@GiorgioJGZI have found the fix: - I have replaced all obsidian with crying obsidian - I replaced 6 glass next to lava near the minecart with crying obsidian (that gives light level 6 on the sapling's blocks) - I put a triple piston extender which places slime block next to spruce trunk and one block above when flying machine launches and hide it back into wall when it returns
That's a great fix! In my last comment I forgot that I was using the flying machines also to break the leaves so they are necessary for the design to work. But this is a great way of fixing it, well-thought, and not too complicated to apply. Thanks!!
after building this farm I was actually getting a lot of cobblestone spawns (usually on the side close to the player). Did you ever look more into that and Figure out what the issue was? I am currently getting more stone than cobble still but not by much tbh. I think mainly because when the cobble spawns I am often not able to mine out the whole line.
Yes, unfortunately because some weird synching issues, more often on a server, the player can't mine all the stone. When that happens the remaining stone stops the water flow and water on the other side is not able to cover up all the spots before lava interacts with it. And instead of making stone, it creates cobble. I have gotten better at stone generators ever since and probably will post a new design for this farm (or similar) and for the fast cobble generator as soon as I have them.
Thank you! Was searching for a reliable shulkerbox loader like this. Cause yea, I build a whole storage with the "usual" 1-wide loader and was a bit angry ( i tore it down with TNT) at that flawed design.
Oh no! Well, hopefully this one works better for you. And btw, TNT destruction is always the choice. I approve 😂
I'm waiting to build one of these farms until after 1.21 because I want to add the crafter to turn the clay balls back into clay and then send that to a furnace array for terracotta
Yes! I am so excited for the crafter. Can't wait for all the amazing automation that we'll be able to do
стоит сказать, что это очень хорошая работа. Спасибо.
After one use the minecart inst centered over the 4 hoppers anymore any idea why?
Did you remove the end rods?
Yes I realized what it was@@GiorgioJGZ
Great!
