- We're kind of in off season right now... not really. But we did have weekend after Thanksgiving where there wasn't a million mile long to do list, so DT decided to pull out an 8 year old project and finish it and I decided I wanted to take you guys along for that build 😂 Within a day plus a few evenings behold a semi-finished seat racer! (?) I don't know the proper name, because it started out as a true barstool cart racer. But, it evolved during this little mini build and I think we're calling it a seat racer. It runs. And it drives. It has no brakes yet. But it's something! Will it get finished and will we actually rip it around? TBD! Maybe.... Or it may sit in the corner for another 8 years lol At least the weekend was put to good use.

That tip for pipe bending is genius! Matching bends sucks! And that tip works for these electric hydraulic benders as well as cheaper hydraulic benders

Has your dad ever injured his arms? I notice when he stands with his arms to his side his knuckles face forward. Most people when they stand with their arms to the side their thumbs face forward, palms toward the thighs.

If you want to loosen up the kart, try putting tires on the rear that are the same size as the front. Also, make a longer rear axle, so you can adjust the rear track. You want to be able to move the rear tires in or out. This will loosen or tighten up the kart. They make different rubber compound tires. You can try a harder compound. You may want to re-engineer the front axle, so you have more caster or a way to adjust the caster. My son and I raced karts for 12 years. I love your videos. If you put some degree on your king pins when you turn.... it slightly lifts the opposite rear tyre off the ground and eliminates the push steering when both rear wheels are driven.....👌🍻

I’m pretty sure if it can be done this guy will do it. He is very creative at this stuff.
I seem to remember there was some talk about it in one of early '55 build videos. It's complete tube chassis are build that way.
