That bent minnow swims a lot like a fish flopping around that's injured, I can see why it works! Great box this month, a fish on every lure! Well done mate

Always great lures in the tackle club box. Bent minnows really are different, they mimic an injured fish. I made some for a custom order, was definitely a challenge. But the bloke slayed the fish on them and is wanting more haha.

I was very big on spinner baits before this cod season but since then I’ve been starting to use hard body’s and had great success I had about 6 sessions in a row where I caught atleast 2 fish

Thanks Mick. 91mm fell at Lake Buffalo. LOL I'm not sure what impact it will have on the river but I am expecting it to get dirty. There's more rain forecast for next week now too. If that eventuates it could keep it dirty.

It’s interesting when you try something new sometime you get to try something outside the box(forgive the pun) I used a minnow recently got a few hits but at least it worked if you are catching fish it is working

Hey mate, I'm wondering if you can do a kayak video trolling for cod in rivers. I've been trying in the upper murray darling for a while and am only getting yellowbelly and got my Pb at 58cm this way but the cod are elusive up here. Just want to see how you would go about it. Ps have hooked a cod but he stole the hook off my lure hahah anyway man love your vids keep it up 👍

Hey robbie! Im heading to the murray in a few weeks, im thinking of buying the tackle club bass and yellas box cause its got a few surface lures and some nice sized jigs. Do you have any tips for kayak fishing in early april for the fish that live in the murray system?
Don't forget to use Robbie's discount code! Rod Mackenzie gets big cod in the Murray with the big stump jumpers or bassman spinnerbaits, but anything similar would work just as well (all the lures Robbie used in this video would work a treat)

I don't fish the Murray itself very often, but if I was to go down now I would do exactly as I was doing in this video, and being April, I would be prepared to make a lot of casts in between fish. They can be hit and miss in April.
Just cast lures at the snags, and along the bank. Good luck mate.

robbie at 4:03 if ur going to do a transition like that please make sure the volume of the effect is lowered down it gave me a bloody heart attack came for fishing got jump scared
LOL Sorry mate. I just had a look because I couldn't remember what type of transition I used.
I think the issue might be with the volume. Next time I use that I will decrease the volume a lot more.
