Seriously? Couldn’t of done an installation video ? Come on man
Also goes on to say, "don't do it at home" scaring people away from probably the easiest DIY car audio installation to attempt. Would much rather have a professional do my car since I'm disabled but I don't have 4k to drop on a 1k setup.
It would have been more helpful if you would have shown the complete removal and installation of it including the disconnect and reconnection of the new radio.
The radio customer came with was direct plug and play android auto radio
Just remove all plugs then reinstall as it comes out
It seems there’s a time skip between removal
of existing to installation
The video did stop few times but that is whole process.just follow the steps
So you have to remove the screen and the radio ? So once you install the new screen do you need to put back in the radio or is there a radio build in the screen alreadyy
This unit had radio and amplifier built-in, so the face goes back on, but the plugs from the radio get connected at the top radio
does this mean all the button down bellow are now dead or do they still work with the new radio? I also noticed at 2:15 in the video that an image of a car overlayed over the new radio screen image… does this mean that the drivers info screen is also accessible from the radio screen?
No the buttons on the face of the radio are not being used. All buttons are on the radio are working. The car information wasn't working on the new radio
Can you show how to install it with all the fixtures eg microphone steering wheel conection
this is plug and play android radio no need to splice any wires, mic is built in but you can use external mic
Scrap the video. If you lost the footage, iust remove and reinstall it while recording!!
Could you please specify model and brand for the radio you have used. eBay link did not work.

Link doesn't work
Do the old radio buttons on the dash control the new radio?
Yes it does
Can you please share the model or at least the name, no link in description. It would be nice if you didn’t skip the installation.
These are the Chinese made no-name on the box
My reverse cam is black and white and shows multiple blurry screens, how’s your get your camera to work, it is a factory camera on my car
You need this
AXSWCH-FD1
@@goautosound1 I don't have this problem but my reverse cam sometimes freezes and crashes the entire unit, making it restart. Do you know how to fix this? Is it improperly grounded?
@buzzywuzzyful do you have a reverse camera that came with a new radio, or is it the factory camera ?
@@goautosound1 the factory camera. It works in color and has some horizontal lines but mostly works other than the crashing
@buzzywuzzyful so it works, then crash your radios power? How does it crash?
This is an installation video? Pretty bad.
Atleast link the unit you installed
www.ebay.com/g/api/garage
definitely 😅
Thanks for skipping the important part. 😂
Ok did answer the question, this is an Android radio which is plug and play directly to factory harnesses,no cutting or altering to factory plug.simply unplug the radio harnesses then plug the top radio to factory plug
it could have been helpful
How you gonna tell how to remove old radio and not how to install new one 🤔??
The radio is plug and play
@@goautosound1 what do you mean by this? Once everything is removed like in the video, how easy is it to plug the new one in? I really wish you had a longer or more detailed video.
@@PatBeVibin it's plug and play,just match the plugs.no cutting
@@goautosound1 I did have to remove parts of the plastic on the inside of where the old head unit used to be to get the cords to meet. I also had to find a place to put the USB wires, external mic, gps antenna, etc. I also didn't know you needed to take the yellow snaps from the old plastic top part and put them on the new one. It would've been a lot easier if you had just recorded yourself installing the actual unit.
This video is useless
i figured the install out, lmk if u need help
That was pathetic video...
