It all comes down character growth and character interaction. We loved the story because we got to see this group of characters become a family. I teared up when Hunter told Omega that she was their kid. It’s incredible written especially Crosshairs.

My only Complaint with Bad Batch was not getting any Boba at all, except a reference to him being the Alpha. In my opinion, it was a bit of a missed opportunity to see what he’s doing right as The Empire that we know it starts to flourish, but despite that, it still doesn’t ruin the show. Chefs kiss, hope to see something with Rex in the future

Agreed. Bad Batch IS the best of Star Wars in quite a while. I was glued to the screen the entire finale. I love the writing above all. There was comedy dappled throughout the show, but kept low key. It fit the characters and wasn't overdone. I was very happy with The Batch.

I went to see Episode 1 in the theater yesterday. Awesome time. My son's first Star Wars movie. I have to say, the way people freak out over everything and then act like 2 is part of some perfect trilogy really doesn't make sense now. If people are like me, it has to be nostalgia bc for me, while I was there I felt like I was connecting my son back to a time where I was his age and showing him something cool. When they played a piece of the Acolyte after the movie, I'm sorry but they were night and day in terms of how they looked. Darth Maul's fights were the closest thing to it as far as fight scenes go.

Tales of the empire is pretty good. Nice simple stories and very star warsy wjth some cool tie ins. Just wish it wasnt morgan elsbeth but i get it from a creative standpoint but hopefully a season 2 we can get some cooler characters
I love the bad batch and I know I will be rewatching it in the future from start to finish. I really found it to be a creative breath of fresh air and as mentioned it felt like Star Wars. It had the this is Star Wars vibe that so many of the new shows just aren't nailing down.
That being said I am in the group of people disappointed in the fact that the story didn't tie into some other areas. Don't get me wrong still love the show, my favorite right behind Clone Wars. I was just really hoping it could help transition the story for the sequels like how the Clone Wars did for the Prequels. Though I do understand that wasn't really the intention for this show. Just hoping future shows can add some coherence to the sequels.

Hot take (spoilers) : Season three was great until they killed off all of Rex's guys. The writing for me fell off a little after that. I really liked those guys, then they all died in kind of a meaningless way. Like I guess you could say it was to save Omega, but she ends up giving herself up to the Empire anyways later on, so idk. They were too cool of a group to not be used in the finale of the season. Like kill them there. Then with the big clone prison escape from Tantiss, which I was hoping to see Rex's guys take part in with Rex, like it was kind of their whole thing, idk it felt a little underwhelming. Felt like there was only 20 clones imprisoned there when it's an entire base worth of them, taken from Kamino, and all over the galaxy to be experimented on. Plus they kinda nerfed Sorch with how he went out, if he actually died. Like it was a really good season don't get me wrong, but I liked season 2 better way. The set ups for this season didn't really pay out for me personally, but Crosshair's redemption was really solid, and I really hope they keep doing more series going forward. It's basically the only Disney star wars worth watching minus a few things these days.
My problem is that they set up some really cool stuff with asajj ventress, they could have had Omega who is a clone of Jango Fett sister of Boba Fett trained by most badass Elite clone for Force that ever existed be trained by a ex sith assassin / night sister and then show up grown up in the mandoverse all grown up and badass, but no they went with rebel pilot instead
She wasn’t trained though! She was at best loosely assessed by Ventress who admitted her potential as a force user is low and even then she would need training. You obviously got carried away with that episode but I found it refreshing for Ventress to admit Omega wasn’t powerful and would need training just to be a low level force user.

Over all BB was one of the best Star Wars shows ever. Check back in 10-15 years.
Ezra, Luke, Ashoka and Omega all essentially start the same way, whiny annoying and naive then they end battle hardened but still hopeful in their own ways.
Animation always succeeds in Star Wars (except tales of the empire)
All the animation stuff has been really good. Live action is hit or miss with the a lot of miss.

Sorry disagree, the ending did nothing for me. Was pumped after season 2 but season 3 had no stakes and repeated formulas like recapturing and rescuing omega for the 3rd or 4th time and big monster goes roar. See Sheev Talks for more and I agree. Bad batch is peak mediocrity. Case and point: will you actually go back to rewatch this show? I just don't see that happening.

Bare in mind I've seen at most 2 maybe 3 episodes from season 1. The problem, is they keep dumping this female agenda down our throat. So I quit it. This female star doesn't work, boom try this one, boom try this one. Mandorlian boom female heavy. Asoka female heavy. Just tired of it. Acolyte heavy female. I am sorry I love females, I'm just not watching constant female stuff. I have my heroes, I like great male casts, with females. I'm tired of the female star over and over again.

That is what all of us want. We want all the shows to be as good if not better than Andor, but as it stands, that's just not happening. Disney should know by now what the fan's feelings are but they keep going in the opposite direction.

But nothing ever happened... the only reason the BB was even remotely interesting is the era... and we saw nothing of the Era. Chracter development could have taken place in any context. The show itself was a nothingburger

The character development in the bad batch is the best part. I cared about and loved each member of that squad! Their journey was super fun to watch. Like Andor, it was about finding hope even in the darkest of times. You missed the point @aetoski8724.
