    The driver bit you need is called torx with security. It is like a hex star but it also has a hole in the middle to prevent using anything that is not the right thing. The correct size is the t8.

    • @whyhatedre-_-6259
      @whyhatedre-_-6259 Před rokem

      is that the only way to open it is with the specific bit?

      Actually it's t9,a t8 will work,but also strip it very easily. When choosing a bit u don't want ANY play when turning. Ud be surprised how perfectly the right bit fits

    Here in 2022, bought a used PS4 Pro this time last year, for a while it was acting fine, after a while some games the fan would start sounding like a fighter jet in my room.
    Followed this guide, after I was done, some games still act the same, others that did the same run just fine now. May need to take one last dive in, clean out any remaining dust in the fan. But for the most part, it worked like a charm. Kinda got scared cause my first time round, the PS4 wouldn’t turn on. Figured out I messed up and I guess didn’t reconnect the battery after I was done. Went back and did that, and it’s working better than before like I said. Thanks for the guide!
