Emma, thank you so much for taking the stand against child porn. How anyone thinks that those who view it are not victimizers blows my mind. Like other commodities, demand drives the market, therefore, the consumer causes those poor children to be victimized in order to get the photos. At a minimum, can’t the consumer be charged as an accessory to that crime?

Can’t imagine having this done, filming it, or watching it. I feel sick just thinking about it.
As a body piercer it’s insane to me that this went on for so long. Body modifications are taboo in the UK - things more extreme than piercing such as tongue splitting etc are illegal. Some councils won’t even allow you to stretch piercings as a service. A local piercer and body mod artist was even jailed for removing ears and nipples to consenting ADULTS in a control and sterile environment before this story happened but these guys for years were able to groom and abuse minors and castrate people, film it, having a website on standard web and nothing happened for years? How did no medical professional report the people going into hospital with blood loss from literal castration?
I’m not keen on tattoos, they’re so proletarian. Why would anyone want to mark themselves like a member of the criminal class?

There are two cases I'd love you to cover; 1) The E17 Night Stalker, Aman Vyas and 2) Londons cannibal, Peter Bryan. Both happened in Walthamstow, London and very few people know of these two men.
Well! I consider myself well versed (aka obsessed) with true crime since I was a (far too) young girl of about 9. And I actually don't think I've heard of either of those!

I heard of the night stalker but not the other one but yes I fully agree, she should cover them along with this one case I heard of (I don't know if Emma has covered it or not but it would be nice for her to shed some light into, with as deep dive -detailed as she gets about these cases) Brittany Smith in Jefferson County, Alabama who killed a man in self defense.. she ended up pleading guilty of murder and did 6 month in prison and another 18 months on house arrest if I remember correctly (those may be incorrect so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).. she allowed a man to stay a night or so with her and he just snapped like he flipped a switch..he tried to rape her, and beat her up a bit and forced her to call her mom or brother to take them to get smokes and her brother took them and he (her brother) had a gun on him and when the brother got them back to her house, she told him to help her make him leave(i dont know how exactly that was worded-it wasnt specified) so when her brother tried making Todd (who has an extensive abusive criminal record and was extremely high on meth att) leave, todd put her brother in a choke hold and thats when Brittany shot him 3 times.. though in the heat of the moment brittany did screw up and tell the police that her brother shot todd because Todd was choking her but immediately told the police later in the morning (the incident happened between 12:30am-1:30am) so later that morning she told the police what really happened...
The point I'm getting at is getting Emma to cover the "Stand your ground" law.. when men use this defense compared to when woman use this defense..
Because its said that the "Stand your ground law" was a law created for white men only and that more often than not, when a woman defends herself in her own home and tries using this, she usually ends up taking a plea deal for some type of murder charge but they appraise men for standing their ground and they get off Scott free when they kill someone in self defense in their own home..
@jaylynncason5267 The E17 Night Stalker is different to the infamous Night Stalker. The E17 had multiple rape victims and one murder victim, but he fled the UK and it took the local MP to get him back or he never would have faced his consequences.

This really is upsetting. Professionally I've been with cancer patients who have had no choice but to have their penis or testicle(s) removed and struggle with psychological issues, understandably. This man has altered every one of those victims and it's great to hear Emma refer to these as victims. Fitting sentences for these people.

There is a lady from Carolina US called Jewel Shupling. She voluntarily went blind by pouring drain cleaner in her eyes. Her psychologist was party to this. She suffered corneal damage and she could see out of the one eye at first but soon became blind. She said she'd always felt like this since she was a child. She just didn't want to see anymore.
Apparently when the family found out the truth they stopped speaking to her. She has since married.
This beggars the question that however this must gall us, to some people maybe not all that many, it is absolutely essential to their life and well being that they have their leg or arm deliberately amputated.
Sex organs I'm not so sure of.
For that man whoever his name is to encourage 16 year olds to have organs/limbs amputated particularly in unsanitary conditions by people who should know greater ie a nurse should have gone down for longer than 5 years. He could have killed any one of them.
And I agree that just because he has images on his phone he should be curtailed and sent to prison. He's a menace and a danger.

I had never heard of this beyond shocking and gruesome story, it's unbelievable.
Unfortunately, consciousless surgeons exist as well and they take advantage of people's vulnerability. A few years ago one of them performed a leg - lengthening procedure on a German model who was already around 170 cm tall. Her legs were extended by 14 cm in total and she spent 150.000 Euros in order to achieve her goal, not to mention the physical pain she suffered. The saddest thing is that she now regrets her decision... She was extremely fragile and she only needed love and psychological support. I don't know where the crazy surgery was performed, certainly not in Europe. Said "doctor" belongs to prison, in my humble opinion.

Theres a case of a woman who identified as blind all her life. She felt so steongly she should be blind she actually ended up blinding herself after being turned down for it being done medically. Sad but shes happy now so it does show for extreme cases there really isnt another answer

When I was a student nurse aged 20 on my psych placement I met a young man same as age as me with BIID. He'd jumped in front of a train twice and lost both legs. It didn't resolve the problem as he had the most terrible phantom leg pains so he felt his legs were still there. It quite literally drove him insane.
