- In this second part of the budget custom shifter kart build, I fabricate the frame from the steel tube which involves bending, notching, cutting, and welding. Hope you enjoy and I will see you next week with part 3!
Please could you give the map with the measurements.
Wow. You should be really proud of your work. Well done.
Great video.. and thank you for NOT using a million jump cuts like many do every three words!
With the steering I would think about finding some ball baring that would work for less friction
Hi there.. can you please tell me where I can find this plan?
I did not understand anything you did as I am dead drunk. But dude I really appreciate the hard work you did put in as I myself did it once to get a rd400 chasis ready. Way to go with the Youngs modulus of your chassis. All the best from India 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 🇮🇳
Very nice job young man.
Hi, can yo please make a video showing the plans with all dimensions an angles?, I want to get in karting but I can buy one so maybe I can build it, thanks
He had the autocad files for this build in his previous video in this series
@@kobek5272 idk what you exactly mean but I aim trying to get ahold of those same measurement papers on building one.
Hey Dude , looks fantastic , you made a uniq vehicle. I see that you have already created 3D of the frame , I would like to ask you that is there any possibility to get the 3D from you to adjust in my workshop , I can send you pictures after all :) ,

About the two bendings on the pipe of the front end where the spindles mount, is the bending so that the front tires level with the rear tires/rear axle? I heard that karts are designed that way to prevent flipping over while on turns or is just to level the front and rear end? Nice work thank you.
Awsome great job!
How much feet of tubing did you buy?
Hi ,
I found your build page while searching for go-kart plans or if you have any suggestions where to find any i'm looking to build a kart for my grandson. Thanks
Could you use pie cuts instead of a tube bender
What’s the type tubing you’re using?
Looks like conduit tubing
he talks about it in part 1
i need onee!!
Did you use 1” tube or 1 1/4” ? Awesome build !!
Where do you get your tubing from?
He mentions it in Part 1
How much tubing do I need to buy to build this frame? Would really help if you can reply to this :) awesome video btw!!
Can you put the sizing and measurements of the tubes please

Ik this vid is old but did you have any problems with warping wend welding
how did you find the camber, caster angle
Where did you get the blueprints? That’s awesome.
I wonder if I could just get all of those tubes from old bikes
Ive seen popular people use a harbor freight manual pipe bender just fine
As far as the video shows lol
czcams.com/video/Lc-PJQkOQq8/video.html
question how thick are the side walls of the tubes ? 2mm, 3mm,4mm etc
Are you doing MIG welding?
what tube sizing did you use?
Badass
What’s up man. Anyway you could take pictures of those blue prints and send em to me? I’ve been really interested in building one recently

I doubt you’ll see this but I’ll be passing by your area tomorrow. I’d love to meet up and take some pics or something. I have a sunlight silver rx8.
There’s a slim Chance you’ll see this but can you release the plans and measurements for the frame if you still have the, cause I’m trying to make my own
I think they are in the description of the first part
@@D11amee i looked at thoes and the 3d files have no measurements of the angles
how thick is the tubing?
Would this pass the FIA Karting spec inspection for competition karting?
I suppose no but if you dial it to 11 i guess no one gonna know it's a homebree race kart
Do you sale plans?

Hello, i am Chilean. I Need make the support for cut tube (1:36)

Which Material are you using for chasis ...
1 1/4" Carbon steel tubing
Did you design this?
What is the background song?
Hey dude can u send me the plans for your kart
Would love to know the tubing type and bending tool.
carbon steel 1-1/4 inch tube 14 gauge bent with a protools bender and die. All info given in my part 1 of this series
Would carbon steel hold up the flex when cornering ?
Will you made for me a Frame please
can we get the dimensions pls??
Just wondering if you could send my the diagram for this build
Thank you.
Where did you buy the steel tubing and what welder are you using? I've been trying to find a supplier of steel tubing but the only place I can find it is at places like home depot where the only sell select sizes and it is extremely over priced.
I’m currently in the process of building a 125cc shifter kart for my senior project. I got 20ft long 1.25in OD, 1in ID tubing for $33 from a local metal place. (Type “metal place” into google maps and one should be relatively close)
as said in part 1, it is from the Pennsylvania steel company. frame is made of carbon steel round tube 1-1/4 .083 wall, Welder is a hobart handler 140
I would spend more time and money trying to get that done then I would spend buying one.
im a 6 foot tall about 200 lbs and using a 450 bmw motor do you think this frame will work for me?
Christian Garcia yes just make sure the welds are proper
where is the third part of the go kart building?
bro are you serious?
@@PeterArmour yes I was. Why are you asking? It was uploaded 2 hours ago and I wrote my question a day ago.
The volume of the music makes it impossible to watch on a smart tv
Can you sell me your plans I have a personal project?
It's confirmed I'm an idiot

not sure what your culture is, but here in America, 20 year old people can make money too
Peter Armour No shit, I guarantee those are still his dads tools.
Peter Armour Here in central Florida we know what the fucks up.
@@wiawii considering that is me, I can assure you they are not my fathers tools. They are in fact mine.
Peter Armour Sure buddy. Try again
Which tube size do you use?
