Man that new drifting, draggin ,slinky style weight is the way to go. I dont trust the 1 with just heat shrink and swivel, but the 1 Nu Skool did with mashing the lead and putting a hole with the swivel looks like the way to go. GREAT Idea guys, Ill be making my next bunch up like this. Thanks and Great idea. Keep the videos coming

Just wanted to update and let your followers know found something else to use in the drift weights
I saw where someone used BBS instead of the lead shot as every one has noticed lead any thing is hard to find ! I bought 6000 steel BBS Daisy brand at wall mart cost under $7.00 bottle has two pour openings it takes 84 to make 1 once for those without a scale weight of the tube material not big issue hope this helps y’all tight lines

First time I seen them made was muddyriver fishermen great guy Kris is. But yea I like the way you did alot easier. I've got some from the store. Got over 12 years ago it was wire with lead in the middle few inches and the wire so small did good but I haven't used in years in being haven't been in boat in years. But I do want to make some of these kids just to have and show off to others that may be curious. I believe even thought you don't use them to have them you can teach others about them. But great video loved it. Have a good week. God bless

I use 1/2” cpvc. Heat one end up, dab some glue on it and clamp it shut until it dries.make it as long as u want it, put as much shot in it as you want, heat the other end up, dab some glue on and clamp it shut. Drill hole for a swivel. You can heat the middle up and put a bend in it if you want. Also it rattles. Cheap and easy.

Steelhead river fishermen have been using the punched lead for 30 plus years check out lead master pliers the closer you punch the hole to the edge makes the lead break off easier so you don't lose your whole rig

@@FishinNStuff Thank you sir! I'm gonna make some slinky weights with paracord to use up all the .22 pellets I have that don't shoot worth a crap, but after those are all lost to the bottom of the lake, I'll try those lead core & heatshrink ones. Hopefully I don't need to make those for a couple years, but I wanna make sure I know what to get when the time comes.
