This video was sooo helpful omg!! You're one of the few CZcamsrs i've found who gave really good demonstrations and explained the paints really well. My boyfriend is a painter and I was trying to get him some new paints for Christmas, but I didn't know the difference between soft and heavy body. This video answered literally all the questions I had. Thanks!!!
*Liquitex is a professional acrylic paint, costs A LOT more than other acrylics, so I'm here to try it before you buy it!* Next week, I'll look at a range of their mediums you can use with acrylics. Some are cool, some are... kind of useless? Hope to see you next week for that one! 😂❤️ Jess
Thankyou for this. I love Liquitex! I just bought an art course and they recommend the Liquitex heavy body, which I’ve never used as I use the regular paint in varying brands, so I’ve been doing research on it. And I found this video - imagine my surprise to hear an Aussie accent! And you’re just down the road - I’m in Brisbane! So new Sub here… Cheers
@@reefprayerresin Oh nice! That's so cool you're kinda local to us! How funny that in the sea of the internet people can still find locals 🙂 See how you go with the Liquitex and feel free to give us any feedback on it 👍
Haha! I wasn't sure what you meant, so I went and had a look and yes! It's the caps/tops of the tomatoes. That's funny! thank goodness it's not actual spiders: I'm a bit arachnophobic 💀
I recommend Permaset. I’ve used it since the 80s. You can paint it on, or screen print with it, set it with an iron, and it’s permanent. - I’ve also used it on paper maché (NOT what it’s meant for!) when I made sculptures, in the 90s - and it’s never faded!
I hate these paint showcases like no one ever uses this much paint it's a waste and just do mix it up with a knife and then smeared all over the place I don't care anybody says that isnt art

That's amazing, thank you Naomi! 🙂🎉
Just got a small primary set today of the heavy body, so thanks for the demo! Looking forward to seeing your mediums video. 🎨

@@GoldCoastArtSchool I know - small world! I bought some today, and will let you know my thoughts..
Which dried to be more matte in your opinion?
Sorry off topic put the tomato behind you looks to have a green spider on it. I know it is the cap on it but funny to me.😂

Do you prefer liquitex soft body or golden fluid acrylic ?
I've heard of Golden, but haven't seen it here! So I'll have to vote Liquitex for now 🙂
Thank you. How do you dilute? You should have extended the view with the additives.
I'm looking for good fabric paint, could you suggest some?
Ahh, unfortunately no idea. But I'm sure some CZcamsrs have experimented and made some great tutorials about their results 🙂👍
