365 days I crewed on sailboats from San Diego, USA all the way down to Panama, stopping in Mexico and Costa Rica. After Panama crossing the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand stopping at islands like the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga and Fiji
45 days I traveled through New Zealand from the Northernmost point to the Southernmost point, then
100 days I traveled by motorbike through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, then
365 days I traveled in my self-built campervan from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, then
365 days I traveled with this van through Iran and Pakistan, then
180 days I built an off-grid log cabin in the woods in Spain, then
180 days I restored an old sailboat in Guatemala, then
365 days I traveled with this sailboat from Guatemala to Honduras, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Grenada and more islands in the East Caribbean

"Living La Vida Loca" or "living life to the fullest" or "stopping to smell the roses" is really the only way to live. You both are showing that you understand this. Slowing things down enough to really enjoy this is the hard part to balance. There's always another place....maybe tomorrow or the next day. Good sailing and stay safe.

I visited Bequia by sailboat back in the 70s. At that time they still hunted for whales in that island so I tried smoked whale meat for the first time in my life. I am glad to see it is still very beautiful and people continue to be super friendly. I see that Daniela is becoming quite a sailor. Great video guys.

Interesting to see your boat anchored to a tree and it looked like at least one other boat was also tethered to a tree. I like the way your sail maker reinforced the grommet. I really like to see the houses during the tours of the islands you visit. Thanks for sharing.

PLEASE, please wear your crash helmets properly so the front part is just above your eye-brows - NOT on the back of your heads. If you have an accident with your helmets on the back art of your heard - you will maybe crack your heads open! Be safe. I have seen too many accidents because people do not wear their helmets properly. Phil (in the South West of England)

Why did you stern tie to the tree?
cuz its a small bay, like this besides less roll, more people fit in
Small cove so it makes more space for other boats if they don't swing. In other latitudes you do it because of constant wind changes.
Daniela is getting really dark. She needs to start covering up when she get in the sun
