Good stuff. Always wondered if I could soar Sleeping Bear and the sister dunes. Answered that one!
You already answered my question! Lol I guess i should have kept watching. Lol
OML Bandit heard your voice and jumped up looking for you😂❤
Quite the trek. Closer than Columbia, but still. Looks like a fun spot.
Wish you coulda showed some more launches and landings of all these dunes, sooo cool
I've spent a lot of time around there. I have a friend with a cottage on Crystal Lake. Its a great area. Have a great trip Kyle!
That's awesome 😎
That's awesome
omg kyle! its SO good to see you do some recreational flying and let us join the ride by turning the bloody cam on. i would love to have a gopro strapped on your shoulder and just come along. cheers from china
listening you talk is like therapy session for free! 😅i wanna ask you: you said flying there is like luxury because you dont have the loud motor on your back. i just finish build my own electric PPG. video is up if you wanna see the maiden flight. if you launch from the same spot right there but have a motor on your back you can shut off any second with no windmilling prop for free flying. would you feel much different from what you do right now without motor? because the majority of the time it would be off. its very lightweight too. only use it to find thermal and maybe find a better LZ later on. yay or still nay?
@cloudpandarism2627 there is a place for it, sure. But I like my free flight just how it is. Also, the noise is still there. The propeller makes the majority of it. Right on for building one! That is something to be proud of!
I think you're paraglider power applying is kind of meat and potatoes and that right there is alligator et tu Faye. I'm too poor to get a motor anyway so I would just be happy if I could learn to fly like that. I'll be hunting for a place like that.
I can’t believe you come to my neighborhood and you don’t let me know… 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
In Frankfort. My kids and I spent a week camping there twice but never got a good flight like you did. S or N wind is no good. When it the air gets cold and the water is warm the lake acts as a thermal!
Were you flying your Zeno?
Oh yeah!
Where are you camped Kyle? How long are you going to be up there?
Can my Uni 1.1 fly motor free?
We're mobile. Going where it's best each night. Silver Lake today.
Is this the only place in Michigan you can paraglide
No, there are several locations.
