I had a dream that I met him once and I was like a total overzealous fan, I was saying stuff like Ozzy Ozzy you have the most unique voice in rock history and he totally snubbed me saying yeah kid yeah kid I've heard it all before now leave me alone, and I was like but Ozzy Ozzy and he'd just cut me off saying Yeah kid I know I know now move along. I woke up feeling really dejected and broken hearted lol, then I realized something, I hadn't even listened to him or Black Sabbath since the early eighties, I kinda lost interest about the time batm album came out and I had this dream in the late ninetys sometime, Ozzy was so from my radar by this point there was no reason to be having this dream,
I met Ozzy in Birmingham in 2010. He was very down to earth and probably completely sober, since I could totally hear what he was saying, while he could also understood me relatively well. Nevertheless, very nice few minutes, he makes others feel comfortable. Not a single vibe of negativity.
My brother met Ozzy but didn't realize it was him at the time. We went to see Black Sabbath (actually my first concert) and at some point before the show, my brother was wandering around on the floor by the stage. He said some guy appeared out of nowhere and asked him if he wanted to smoke a joint. He realized that it had been Ozzy when he saw him on stage later.
My favourite Ozzy story was when Lita Ford brought Ozzy to meet her parents. Lita's parents asked Ozzy if he wanted a drink and they got him a bottle of wine and a glass. Ozzy chugged the entire bottle and asked "Could you get another bottle please?" Lita's parents were speechless.
Ozzy came grocery shopping at this store I worked at. He had an assistant do all the talking, no one was allowed to talk to Ozzy. But it was fucken awesome seeing the Ozzman not 10ft in front of me. Ozzfest was that weekend so I bought myself a ticket & called out of work lol 🤘
My friend Gayla worked for a catering Service at the fairgrounds here in Louisville for yrs - She fed everyone from Elvis to Sinatra - I asked her ( 20 yrs ago) about Ozzy , she said and I quote : " Ozzy's a nice boy !"
I met Ozzy and the rest of Sabbath (including Ward, of course) at their reunion tour. I asked Ozzy if I could kiss him and it took him a few moments to register the thought and then he stood up leaned over the table and kissed me on the lips for like 7 seconds! I also ran my fingers across his O z z y tattoo on his knuckles and Bill Ward laughed. Ozzy was cool af along with all Sabbath. Great bunch of guys.

But I turned around and to my surprise Ozzy came running at me,arms waving,drunk as f***.I brought him to my favorite bar and he was adamant that I should have a drink with him. It turned out that I left the bar at twelve in the night. I vaguely remember calling for a taxi to get him to his hotel, but I have had the best time of my life.I kept on laughing and he kept on playing the clown. What a great guy. I love him to death ❤

when I saw him late 90s (first time), I was wearing a bark at the moon shirt , and ozzy was already shirtless on stage (after a few songs as was usual those days) , so I threw mine on stage (from 2nd or 3rd row) , unfortunately he did not wear it but at least he picked it up , showed up to the audience and threw it back in (not to me though).

Black Sabbath did a meet-and-greet at Tower Records Boston in 2008 where I worked at the time. I was in the staff restroom when someone came banging loudly on the door. I opened it and Ozzy was looking right at me with our loss prevention manager standing behind him. Tommi, Greezer and Bill all went in shortly thereafter as I sat in the break room and watched.
This is definitely not a wild story, but I waited on a huge line for a long time to meet Black Sabbath at a signing in 1998 or 1999 when they did the reunion tour with the full original lineup. Ozzy sat there the entire time with his head in his hand, looking down at the table. He refused to look up or say hi or talk to anyone while security rushed everyone though and told them to leave Ozzy alone. Tony Iommi was too busy getting coffee to greet people when I was up there. Bill and Geezer were cool. Overall a huge disappointment.

Ozzy was having a hard time keeping up with signing the Reunion CDs as a huge stack started piling up next to him. Lol. And I also ran my fingers across Ozzy's tattoo knuckles and Bill Ward laughed.
