This will definitely be fun to see, but I just went through your rules and although I understand them to some extent, I think that if there's any item you're allowed to have on any one team in-game, it'd definitely be Pikachu's Light Ball. Just an honest opinion, but I hope you understand where I'm coming from, since Red uses it in the games. I'm just surprised he even has a G-Max Pikachu and G-Max Snorlax in Pokemon Masters.
NEW NOTE: Just finished watching the video, and you did a great job. Now I have some faith that Ash can beat Leon's Charizard and Cinderace with Pikachu. I look forward to the next one.

Fun fact: Red in Sun/Moon/UltraSun/UltraMoon was 31 years old, considering the Gen 7 games are set 20 years after the Gen 1 set games Red/Blue/Yellow/FireRed/LeafGreen/Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee when Red was 11 years old, so that means in Sword and Shield, Red was likely 34-35 years old.
Thinking about it is making me feel old 🙈
But R/B/Y Red is set in a different timeline without mega evolutions? Wouldn't that make Red like 16 or 17 going by BW2
Close, because Red was 31 in Sun/Moon/UltraSun/UltraMoon because there is a 20 year gap between Gen 7 and Gen 1. The "96" on Red's shirt in Gen 7 is a reference to the Japanese release date of the first two Gen 1 games. Going by the release date of the games, Red would be 31 during Gen 7.
As for the Mega Evolution discrepancy, the issue X and Y deals with is how Earth has limited resources, especially when it comes to Mega Stones (as in X and Y, Mega Evolution is only known in the Kalos region, and Prof. Sycamore's assistants Sina and Dexio who reappear in Sun and Moon reiterate this, never mentioning that the Hoenn region has Mega Stones), and humanity is trying to take it all and give nothing back, which is something Team Flare boss Lysandre used to validate his motive to eliminate the human race to near extinction, to preserve Earth's resources, Mega Stones included.
ORAS are in FRLG and HGSS's timeline, including BDSP. See, what most people don't understand is in the Pokemon world, every region starting with Kalos in the main timeline has something that makes it unique from other regions. In the remake timeline, it is Hoenn that has Mega Evolutions.
There are a lot of details in the game that suggest X and Y and the main Gen games after it are years into the future after Gen 1.
The gab between Gens 4 and 5 makes this a uncertain, but by looking at when the events of the games take place in relation to one another, Gen 7 is more likely to be set about or a little over ten(ish) years or so after Gen 1, meaning that Red is only in his early 20s in Gen 7.
We know that the years in between the events of Gens 1 - 4 consist of three years and that Gens 5 - 7 consist of four. The gab between Gens 4 and 5 is probably not above a decade for Gen 7 to take place twenty years after Gen 1, so Gen 7 taking place around or over ten years after Gen 1 seems more plausible
More than plausible, solid. The first Gen 1 games released in 1996, the first Gen 2 games released in 1999, and it is common knowledge that as a direct sequel to Gen 1, Gen 2 takes place 3 years after Gen 1, and the Japanese release dates of the games align with this fact, so each Pokemon game is set in the year they were released on, which makes Gen 7 set in 2016 like its worldwide release date, 20 years after Gen 1 in 1996, making Red and his rival Blue 31 years old, with Anabel from Emerald Version being a couple years younger than they are, and in the Pokemon Detective Pikachu movie, it is confirmed that 20 years have passed since Mewtwo left the Kanto region.

God, seeing Pokemon Sw and Sh again after SV makes me wanna cry. I became a Pokemon fan near the end of Gen 7, so the first game I beat was US, but played Lets Go Pikachu right after. I played Shield once I beat that, and did the Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra too. It's weird to say, but I feel nostalgic already.

I've always been disappointed by the lack of additions to Red's in-game teams. In gen 7 they could have revamped it and added more to his line up in the battle tree like they had with Blue, but no. Just the same Pokemon throughout the series. At least Pokemon Let's Go tried to spice it up a bit, but I'd rather see Red use some Pokemon Ash had used at some point.

Can't believe I've played sword and my most hated gym is that rock type gym, annoying puzzle and the worse designed gym leader. But in shield we get a hot ice top mama. WTH
Yo! Just so you know when your trying to build up friendship you an always make camp and play for a couple of minutes with your Pokémon, feed them, repeat 1 to 2 more times, and they'll be at maximum friendship. it's a little unbalanced but it makes grinding friend alot easier even more so if they are holding a soothe bell!

2:03 In Pokemon Sword I made my character look like Hilde from Pokemon Black and White but there's 1 issue, you can't wear hats with the ponytail hairstyle. Why Game freak especially after Let's go Pikachu and Eevee.

A few hours ago I was playing Scarlet. I'm watching a Shield video now and am realizing just how much better the graphics are in the previous game. All this time I thought they were on par with each other, but nope.
