This one hit really close to my heart. My grandmother, aunt and uncle all had Parkinson's and now I believe my grandfather has developed a late onset of it too. My aunt was an incredible artist. Facts
@Christofer Foodist that is mean and no he's not
Did the artist try to go to school in Vienna and later became a famous German politician?
1:03 this reminds me of when my instructor from college was going through the assignment and showed everyone my incorrect answers in front of the whole class and I was so hurt as a person with disabilities. So happy he proved her wrong in the end! Powerful message! ❤
🤦♀
All that instructor taught was how rude and a bad person they are if they feel the need to put wrong answers on the board just to humiliate one student.
Now this is one of the things that I LOVE about art and why I’m so drawn to it.
Art is subjective, there isn’t a correct way to do things when it comes to art. Whether it be sculpting, dance, drawing, paint, etc. You can literally just draw a bunch of squiggles and it is art. You can express how you are feel through your art and no one else will know the true meaning behind it other then you, they can guess sure but you are the only one that will truly know. I’m not that good at drawing myself mostly because I’m unable to practice much, but what inspires me is that all these famous artists we know and love today, were once regular people like us. Infact most of them lived on the streets even and didn’t even make a dime and their art was considered not good, ugly, untalented etc, but now look at their pieces.. they sell for billions of dollars.
There is absolutely no right or wrong way and there are no rules to it.
What matters in art if you draw or do anything is it’s only art if you say it’s art and no one else. All that matters is YOUR opinion because it’s your creation… not anyone else’s.
That’s what I love about art.
Hi, I just wanted to thank you so much for this comment! I used to draw and paint and dance and do all sorts of things but then I grew out of them due to depression and loss of passion and more, but for some reason after reading your comment I am considering going back and trying it again and I just wanted to thank you because no one has done that for me yet, not even close family or friends, may God bless you with the most beautiful happy life
Wow
@@ursosa8937 That means alot to me but it is true. Look at Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picaso, etc. Many of them didn’t even make a single dime and lived on the streets trying to sell their work. People thought they were untalented and just wasting their time back then. But today their art sells for billions even trillions of dollars, yes they may be poor when they were alive and it is known that art becomes more valuable once the artist is dead and gone.. but there are many artists today who I guantee faced the same struggles and now look at them. Made a living doing what they love. Many people may tell you that it’s ugly, you can’t do it, or your not doing it right. But that’s when you look at them and ask “Really, I didn’t know there were certain rules I had to follow in art. Please go ahead teach me these rules.” They may try to tell you look at Van Gogh or Pablo their paintings sell. But that’s also when you say “Okay, did you know people told them the exact same thing your telling me? But they didn’t listen and now they’re paintings are famous everywhere years later proving them wrong. So please, go do some research before you tell me I’m doing my art “wrong”.”
Because in art.. rules simply just don’t exist. And that’s what makes it beautiful.
I’m glad I was able to inspire you again.

Am I the only one who thinks Donny’s drawing is actually so good? 😭
@Sarah.x. Donny's drawing is nice. 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇OH btw bye-bye RENEE GERTUDE. YOU'VE BEEN TERMINATED FROM THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This episode hits home for me. My grandpa was a talented artist, unfortunately he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and he slowly lost the ability to create his drawing and painting. He passed away late October last year, we will forever treasure his art. He was known as Wolfie. I miss him every day.
Aww hope he rests well in peace 🥺
REST IN PEACE🙏🙏🙏
Sorry to hear that
This is why love Dhar, he makes me feel so uplifted and inspired with his amazing videos.
Thank you, Shara. I appreciate you watching.
I was in tears when the when the mean art teacher yelled at him and he was almost crying about it
“AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH” I loved that ending
I have a learning disability so I became an artist when I was a little boy, nobody discourages me. Never judge people about being different, keep drawing and coloring. You can’t give up. God bless you Dhar Mann.
God bless you too, Jorge. Never give up! Stay inspired!

It's not just a disability, it's a different ability ❤
- Dhar Mann
not even his quote
@@xanderksaem 💀
No that's not. It's dability. Ok bad joke
Parkinsons is a disability
That cringey, patronizing, virtue signally phase doesn't deserve a heart 🤮 (and I say this as an autistic person)
A disability doesn’t make you bad it makes you special❤
Yeah special ed
@@user-rb1dm5tg1u nahhhhhhh
It could have made a certain somebody rude.
This movie encouraged me a lot.. thanks! ❤❤❤❤
"There is no greater disability in society than the inability to see a person as more" Robert M. Hensel ❤
Moral of the story: no one is perfect everyone makes mistakes and that’s ok we try hard and believe in our self that’s how we learn big fan keep up the great work
this made me cry❤️
Me too, I cried literally 😭
We, sonarians, suffer to get money, but worth it
I also cried 😭🤧
There is no perfection in art. There is only expression
kid gets rejected from art school, what happens next is shocking
I love how Dhar Mann includes all kinds of people in his stories and making people aware about disabilities and what people go through. Hope I can also create amazing content like him
15:34 this man is fanning himself with 100 dollar bills
lol
I am Autistic (Asbergers) and I have always hated myself for my disability. So...hearing her say "I have a different ability" hit hard..thank you so much Dhar.
Same! I've always been introverted since I was a kid and I was also bullied too. I'm an aspiring artist as well. I've done a few things for my family over the years.
Everyone doesn’t deserve discouragement, they really deserve encouragement when ever they make mistakes and that is how a student sticks to it and keeps on tryin.
When she had yelled at him because he got sauce on her painting. I actually cried. It hurt to watch someone be so rude to someone that couldn’t help it.
I love how dhar mann just gets in your head and makes you wanna a better person.
Me totally not having a bit of tears in my eyes while he was walking out of the gallery saying,''Sorry everybody ." And hopefully its not just me that I wanted to slap Mrs Renee SOOOOOOOOOOOO hard. As an artist, art doesn't have to be perfect and no one has to be good at it no matter you have a disability.
The way his friend roasted the teacher lady at the end is just brilliant! That's a really inspirational story. Even if you're not selling your paintings, doesn't mean your work was for nothing, especially if you're doing what you love, you should never stop.
I love art, and at one time I worked at an art museum here in Dallas, Texas, which made me happy because then I could see all of the amazing art work by really great artists. Seeing this episode was fantastic, because my mother had Parkinson's and dementia, and we lost her in 2020 a week before her birthday, and seeing this made me sad and happy at the same time, thank you Dhar Mann for this particular episode.
never give up
Never gonna let u down
