Launch control lowers the redline to increase traction it has nothing to do with preventing a loop out, more traction = more wheelie if you don't know how to do a start.
It doesn't lower redline it just makes the ignition mapping like you and retards it

My 1998 Yamaha YZ125 has a YZ60 flywheel, Wiseco high-compression pistons, the extended pushrods & front & rear sprockets are custom machined outta chromoly, the motor’s drastically lower rotating mass & turning weight (and oversized front sprocket/smaller than market available rear sprocket gave it torque superior to a pro’s Honda CR250R (back in 1998)…I’d put my 1998 YZ125 up against any stock 250, 400, 426, or 450…
That first rev on the kx was crazy amd he coulda still went amd got him well i wouldve😂
