Brilliant again and Let's not forget their age (I've been seeing The Who since I was 12) and what the cause was for; TEENAGE CANCER TRUST. If you don't like it fade away but make a donation for those poor kids struck down with that awful disease
I think they sound great. Too much negativity, they are in their 70s- 80s. Most people are pooping pants in the nursing home at this age. Give them a break.
I agree, I’m in my 70’s and a novice but this one of the songs I’ve written and performed, I hope you like it? czcams.com/video/TyCQW3VPD5I/video.htmlsi=-4vDfs5KRQWvGagF
Magnificent. Anything The Who give us on Stage is simply great with me. I'm just sorry I couldn't make it Wednesday. All I hope is they play and sing on. Thanks for the video.
I have been watching Pete with other artists on you tube can I recommend Ian Mclagan with Pete kushty rye and watcha going to do about it, also Pete at Ronnie Lane memorial concert, put your headphones on , last one album rough mix new dimension to Pete,
@@bishbashbosh3373I was there also, and disagree - Electronic drums are very difficult to make sound good in a live band situation and unfortunately they just sounded like electronic drums, but with no tone either - Really lost the impact of the show for me. Especially in the context of having a fully orchestra, the drum kit just sounded silly?!
@@basswomper1785 it’s not a standard kit; the entire kit is mesh heads and pads - it’s dressed up to look normal for aesthetics // but there is no acoustic sound at all. The last time you saw them, it may well have been a real kit - it’s only the last few years they’ve used this kit, more so for the orchestral tours
Totally agree, expected better check out Pete and Ian Mclagan, and Ronnie lane memorial concert with Pete sounds great, can't stop playing it on CZcams,
@Peter-3282 agree like I said watch him with Ian Mclagan and the Ronnie lane memorial concert , dynamic guitar and vocals great sound let me know your opinion,
What a great Voice at that age.
Love these guys till the day I die.

Saw them in the early 80s and can’t believe they still sound so good. Thanks for sharing the clip.

It is clearly a standard kit mic'd up. It's recorded on phone ffs, what sound quality do you expect. Saw them live some years back - superb!!
