People ask me how easy is it to find vegan food in Thailand and so today I decide to only eat vegan to show you how easy it is. Koh Phangan is a very vegan friendly destination and so this shouldn't be too hard.

That vegan pancake is probably made from chickpea flower and flax... That would be my guess at least. When you come here to Bangkok I will bring you for a crazy good vegan burger, none of this healthy bowl crap. lol

The pancake is made from Besan (chickpea flour) usually garlic powder, salt, pepper, water and chickpea flour. High in protein and pretty tasty if it's made right.
Heads up: Singha is actually pronounced "Sing" ...the ha is silent.
Learned that a few days ago in my Thai language class...and sharing it with you and your followers!

I can feel you being a farang whos been in Thailand for many years - sometimes it feels weird to be among other farangs in their tropical holiday mode. You see things made for western tourists and ride your bike pass it everyday to school never give a shit, but now you go in for it still thinking is it my holiday ? Or should I eat the rice and curry and save up ££ 🙃

When you will visit Kanchanaburi region, I recommend visiting the Giant Monekypod Tree . Not as tall, but the circumference is absolutely massive. It’s about 30 mins drive from Kanchanaburi town.

Talking about food and how it taste, it's hard to justify which and which is the best. Different countries have a different taste buds and a different types of vegetation. You are right Paddy.

Did you make it to Mediterraneo Pizza&Pasta? They have pizza with amazing stretchy vegan cheese that is top secret.
She also makes coconut yogurt, and fresh chocolate filled vegan croissants.

Amstardam bar has the best sunsets
The town close to the piers is Thong Sala.
I used to love that place since it’s was one of the few places on the island where it was possible to get away from the hippie/backpack/hipster crowd. I can see it has only gotten worse since I was there.
Funny that you filmed at Amsterdam bar. I think a guy I knew got arrested there for smoking. He spent a couple of days in jail, before he payed his way out and left the island.
I was hanging out with some locals at the time, and 2-3 police guys came down after they had raided the bar. They brought the herbs they had confiscated and added it to a chicken soup and had a jolly good time 😂

I was there in 2011 for 4 months, and the Island has really changed. I don't think I spotted ANY vegan cafes there back then xx

It's quite easy to eat vegan in Thailand as a lot of Thai food is already vegan as long as you ask for vegetable or tofu instead of meat. (And be careful of egg noodles and fish sauce)
And oyster sauce...
Unless you thai language skill are very good, or you’re in a place where they are used to vegetarians/vegans then most place will add fish sauce to you food even if you ask them not to.
Same goes for thai restaurants in the west.

Looked like a fun day . Ok I’m probably going to get Vegan bashed here BUT , a good friend is in his mid 60s been a vegan 90 % of his life , never drank , never smoked, never drugs , and he now has health problems. He’s been to several specialist, they have all told him vegan is no good long term . 💋🥩🌳☘️🐟💪✌️
Paddy, is there an abundance of alcohol free beers in Thailand? Like in 7/11 , restaurants and cafes?
Guinness is not vegan as they clarify it with a fish product. Some vegans count yeast as an organism but not many of them.

It's been proven that children brought up on non-meat food are shorter than those with meat in their diet. Humans were meant to consume meat and fish. Enjoying the videos.
