- Hope everyone enjoyed today's vlog. There is a lot of stuff going on all over, it's a lot to keep track of, I will try to keep you guys updated as much as I can! Also don't forget to check out my website to buy some goldfish feed! lukesgoldies.com
Also, unlike goldfish, guppies need a place to hide.
Sadness comes for them
Yup, that could explain why they are so scared. A huge open space with no hiding places is terrifying for small fish, especially guppies.
I had 2 bettas and they loved to hide in their little huts
@@Yoongisgreyhairs_ Same, mine sleeps in his floating log every night, and goes into his tunnels to find peace from his tankmates
Nah not really
Throw some stem plants, rocks, caves, any kind of hiding place into the guppy pond. Guppies have to have hiding places in order to feel secure, also for the fry to survive since the adults will eat them. With live-bearers it's a good idea to keep 3 females per male fish as well.
I have a pvc pipe thrown in for hiding. The guppies and platies not interested in going and hiding. Guess they feel safe 😀

Luke: fusses at Oreo for being a wimp about water changes
Also Luke: over drains the tank during water change…
🧐😂
Im just a human. After all! Im just a human, after all! Dont put the blame on me, dont put the blame on me!
Luke will never understand an introvert fish
It was a diff tank tho
@@Hungary_0987I’m only human*
But lmao so true
We need an explanation about tuco gizmo and jimmys alleged passing!
make this blowup so Luke sees it plz

Try adding some rock work to help the guppies settle in better. The rocks will also help hide any babies a lot better. Also stem plants are always a hit w guppies ☺️
Luke's Goldies never stop making my day better.
I actually love how honest you are with your channel and how you run your business. Not many people admit they make mistakes or show the troubles they come across and it makes a big difference. It honestly helps your audience connect with you so much more as they can relate with what’s going on. Your content honestly helps me get through the week so thank you!
Hey Luke! Love the vid! Here’s a tip for the guppies, they rarely produce babies if they don’t feel safe, so add some hiding spots! The short roots of the salvinia isn’t enough in such a deep pond so you should get some fast growing stringy plants like guppy grass or hornwort.
Good luck!
My guppies won’t stop making babies.
@@lloyd081877 good job…
oh...! @@lloyd081877
We missed your long videos but we definitely understand that mister Luke is very busy. ☺️👍
🤔 You will have more success with the guppies if you add some guppy grass to the tubs. It will clean the water, give a hiding place for the fish and provide a food source. If you add a handful of leafy litter to the tub it will become a food source for the guppies.
Brine shrimp for the guppies, some hiding spaces, and maybe even some botanicals!
8:41 Jellybean is so precious!
Give the guppies some hiding spaces
Better put something for that guppies to hide, it will increase the motel's stars- i mean, make them more comfortable to feel safe and start breeding
And for the babies hide from their cannibal parents
Would recommend to add some hiding spaces in the tank, guppy grass or moss or algae or wood....
It will boost their confidence and they'll start feeling like home
What happened to your other turtles not your snapping turtles but your regular turtles
They chillin
was hoping for a follow up video on what happened to the first fancy goldfish in the house, really curious what happened tot hem after what you said last video :(
This is a suggestion but the low, low quality goldfish that you would cull, maybe you could sell them as bait fish because lots of people in small towns can’t find bait fish and lots of fish would probably eat goldfish, but this is a suggestion but keep up the awesome content and the good work
The suffocating goldies: "LUKE!!! THE SECOND TIME YOU DID THIS!!!!"
Add some plants/hiding place for The guppies.
U Will have a much bigger succes rate.
Less babies eaten. Less stressed fish!
They dont eat any aquatic plants btw!
The more that you interact with the turtles and feed them by hand the more they will tame up. Snappers can become really tame and it’s cool to see
Luke you need to feed the guppies flakes
It’s true that guppies like plants and hardscape and shady places and the strength of numbers. That being said, the guppies I raised myself are never afraid of me and will swim into my hand. But any new guppies that grew up somewhere else, tend to be super skittish at first. Also, the bigger the tank the less interaction you will have with the guppies, so their behavior might stay skittish.
Awww they are so cute 🥰 🐢 ❤
Thank you for posting long videos again Luke, really enjoy them
We need an explanation on the gizmo tragedy
He has a short about it i think

Have you seen the other baby snapping turtles that you released back to the pond?
Thanks for the video. :)
Thanks for showing your trees around your property.
Nice, like koi's treatment every morning
“Yea there perfectly fine..” idk about that 😂😂😂
Yey my weekly dose of Luke's goldies
Nice colour on Jack and Jill 🤩🤩
the tank is far too bare for the guppies. They feel unsafe having no where to hide. I’d downgrade them to a much smaller tank, a 50 gal max. add in more stem plants or fake plants. anything for cover
They can hide behind the filters. Although fake plants wouldn’t be as good of an idea as you’d think. He’s tried that before and has a fish almost choke to death on them I believe. He has also had issues with real plants but I think real plants are the best idea.
@indoboy_official8705 For the goldfish you are right, but I believe yeetles is talking about the tank for the guppies. I which case the plants combined with a smaller tank will greatly help reduce stress.
@@Yutyrannid8705 Guppies aren’t going to choke on fake plants, guppies are tiny compared to the big goldfish and wouldn’t be able to eat a fake plant. I do prefer real plants but he needs literally anything at this point lol
@@phillipsmith5234 Yes sorry I should have clarified! I edited my comment
@@yeetles you do have a good point
The goldfish is quite complete and pretty, always a success for goldfish Greetings from friends of goldfish farmers in Indonesia
Me petting the baby turtle: Yosh!
Shift all the guppies from the turtle tub to guppy tub. you can keep some but shift the colorful guppies to the guppy tub.
I love watching these, something about them are just entertaining to watch
add some rock structure or fake plants to the middle of the guppy tub. they will be more comfortable and happier i promise
Real plants. 🤡
You should use the guppy pond to grow duckweed instead of salvinia. Duckweed will pull nutrients and clean the guppy tank, the scoop the duckweed and feed it to those chunky nuggets
I got my own Ranchu finally, I have had him for a few months now. I got him for a really good price and I name him Louis Litt... He pretty much alone in a 20g aquarium so I want to upgrade and get another one
Hey for your Alge use a centrifuge!!! It won’t kill it an no filter
Aww, I love water creatures!! ✌️☺️
Awesome that you posted a video instead of a short.💙

If i may ask why aren’t you using the green water algae water to grow out the mini codes? Wouldnt it be more effective that way?
Maybe because he's not sure if it is better than raising them the normal way, he did mention it was an experiment.
coolest spiderman bowl i have ever seen
The fish in the start are perfectly fine😅
Never stop posting long videos
Hey, Luke I would really recommend you to put a Surface Skimmer To filter out a lot of Dirty things on the surface.
Great job
Luke you need flakes to feed the guppies
I love ur videos
Your videos motivate alot dude..!
Those oranda x ranchu crosses are beautiful! Are you saving some of them for future breeding?
If you’re naming one bowser the other has to be yoshi!! ❤❤❤
yes
Heres an idea ahem…
Step1: remove guppies and all floating plants from snapping turtle tank into another tank
Step2: get new floating plants
Step3: get a big net and o to the creek
Step4: catch yourself some tadpoles
Step5: get frustrated and give up
Step6: go to a reptile shop and buy tadpoles
Step 7: ad tadpoles to snapping turtle tank
Oreo is my boy. Protect Oreo at all costs
Another good video
What happend to jimmy tuco and gizmo? Did the pothos dead roots turn the water bad? Big sad
How do you change the water in the guppy’s tank
Get you some Brazilian pennywort does great as a floating plant and will get dense

Beautiful 😊👍
Luke, please put a little green leafy hat on one of the snapping turtles while they're basking or sleeping 😄 🐢☘️🎩
Hey Luke, I gave my ranchu rapid cure and the "fuzzy" look has dissapeared! ❤
I don't know how you are able to constantly add to your workload like this, it's pretty impressive 😅
Put some wood and plants in the guppy tub and if it's not heated put a heater as they're tropical fish
nice one Luke
Bowser is perfect 👌🏼
What model pump are you using? I’d like to get one for water changes for my new tank.
0:04 yeah they are fine
TURTLES
I have a Shubunkin with a swim bladder issue & I am interested in the food you're using. Did you make it yourself or purchase it?
Bowser and chowder 🤣
Do you use staright tap water or filtered tap water to refill your tanks? And so you treat the water for chlorine after a water change?
You should use filtered tap water and add water conditioner before cycling the tank and just a bit after every water change
Sup luke nice vid
Lets go I love the vlogs
guppies love many many plants to hide in!
Those baby tutels are chonky, especially their necks
Lil dumpy 2.0 is GOGREUOS and I mean GORGEOUS
Hey Luke I think u should get a nerite snail for the guppies from Petsmart cause I got one and he didnt have any parasites, but he died yesterday.
You should add some of the green water into the new tank you got
Add some guppy grass to the tank it’ll grow like crazy
WAIT... Num-Nums, I have a goldfish that looks like him😮😮😮
Hi luke I have baby platy fish I need to get another female platy due too them males breed a lot I was thinking off getting another pearl scale goldfish but never seem too have a lot of luck with that breed good luck with selling your fish I enjoy watching
So cute
How did jimmy, tuco and gizmo die tho😢
The red caps have come a long way
Good vid bro post every day long videos are best
I don’t know if you can put fancy in a pond but a goldfish pond would be super cool
Definitely can if you do it right. I would recommend a man made one, with other fancy. Gotta think about the winter, so a good heater. And something to cover it up even
"802nd video of me requesting luke to name a chunky goldie Mr.Blaze" It must be the most fiery goldfish🔥🔥
Fucking cringe.
