Everytime i listen to this song, I contemplate whether it's one of the best oM songs made. But I never reach a conclusion b/c i have like...70 favorite oM songs! Kevin Barnes simply makes interesting music!
god this takes me back. i was just 20 and didn't know shit about life, now I'm about to be 33. so much change in only 13 years. I can only imagine what the next decade has in store :)
Used to listen to of Montreal a lot during high school. Just got divorced with someone I met in high school. Decided I'm going to listen to of Montreal for days until I'm not depressed anymore. This shit has always slapped.
This song made me feel happy again when I was dealing with the grief I had of losing both of my grandfathers and with my marriage being on the rocks. A couple years later I saw of Montreal in Atlanta (and Kevin on the white horse) then a few years after that in Athens (more wackiness), and I saw for myself that Kevin is an unsung genius, which I already knew from listening to his albums. Thank you for existing, Kevin, et al!
In the midst of the worst breakup I've ever had right now and ALL of this Album makes me more willing to work through it.. You are amazing, thank you for being such an awesome artist!!!!!!
Found out last night that my girlfriend has been cheating on me for weeks. Broke things off with her, and now waking up early in the morning, showering, dressing, and listening to this music gives me hope.

True story. 2012 lol.
I think you did your math wrong, it should be:
album = mindfuck - blotter acid
LSD = Album = Mind Love
Nisqually occult?
sounds like cage the elephant, but I do like it
except that Cage the Elephant came much much later than Of Montreal.
