This band is completely underrated
My thoughts exactly. I was into them a few years back and went to their concert back in 2017 i think it was. Time moves so quickly. This music video has me in tears. I never watched their music videos but for my bday recently i picked up 2 of their vinyls and decided to watch some of their music videos today finally. They are so good and no one knows them, and if they do it's just Rawnald. lol. :(

I was a Funeral Director/Embalmer until my hours were cut, jobs were super hard to get, and had kept working with terrible back pain from that and hiernated discs, and that P.O.T.S. stopped me in 2013 and i miss it so much! This video really is how I would look at each deceased person, each person I would respectfully treat like a family member, a person who had dreams and hope or even sickness and accidents, sudden deaths that cut their life short, but us living can still go through our happy moments like a slideshow. I would treat each person according to their wishes or just know. I would have all types of music, and on a removal back to a FH, or Coroners, I would play their music, or one persons family said please don't let my loved one be in the dark, he was always scared of the dark. I knew that Funeral Home had a rule turn out the lights, once you leave the deceased, so I took my favorite keychain flashlight that had special meaning to me and left it with him. 🔦 I turned it on, and said a prayer, they were a very sweet religious Mexican family at least 27 at the house with all their kids. I said to him now you will be in the light. Nothing to be afraid of. Then I swear I felt his spirit leave happily. 😇🕊💗

This band has been around for quite some time and I'm just now discovering them. So far every song I've listened to is good. They're quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Same thing happened to me a while back. I had known and liked Rawnold, Isabella of Castille, Golden Light and this but I finally just clicked on another song which happened to be Atlantis and that's all I took, I couldn't stop jumping from new song to new song after that. Check out Elderbrook- the same thing just happened to me with them recently. Numb, Closer, Could, and Inner Light are all great and there are far more to discover

Such a scary glimpse into the future. Health declined, can't really partake in your passion anymore (dance), wife is dead, house is wrapped up (probably know you don't have much longer to live.) Like the song lyrics tell you, don't forget to live your life while you're alive. Don't look back from your lonely death bed wishing you did more. Do what you truly want, take some chances, and above everything else make sure you have as much fun as you can.

I'm kind of a hipster so I was watching TFIOS to see what all the hype was about but I heard the beginning of this song and I screamed with excitement. The movie is shit, but the music is great!! It is so rare for me to be out in public and just randomly hear a part of an indie song that I know because of my obscure tastes, so I was really excited!

I heard this in the movie TFIOS and I nearly fell out of my theater chair, I literally read the soundtrack before I saw the movie but I must have completely skipped this song! I LOVE this song and I'm surprised I listened to it before it was in the movie interpretation of one of my favorite books. Starfucker is amazing.
AND STRFKR's "WHILE I'M ALIVE" is the first song heard in major motion picture hit, "THE FAULT IN OUR STARS" after Hazel & Gus' initial meeting at the support group. ON THE SOUND TRACK now out too!
