I think Lexi’s beef with Vanessa started when Vanessa said that Xander said they would be asexual without Vanessa and has no intention of ever leaving Vanessa. Lexi took that as Vanessa saying she’s not afraid of losing Xander at all so therefor Vanessa has no skin in the game, nothing to lose, and Lexi found that unfair

I’m with you there, but at least she settled down. Mildred is such a toxic Jerry Springer guest role in the mud kind of person. She stayed consistent throughout all the way to the reunion.
I’m not at all surprised she got in trouble with the law, and Tiff has to see a therapist for her codependency with such a toxic person and really cut it off so that she can be happy and find a partner and build a stable life with.
Mildred such an old name , if that name didn’t come with a trust fund I would have changed it a long time ago, still wouldn’t change the complete toxic person she is and loves only herself. You don’t live with someone for five years and since all your wants didn’t get checked off you drag Tiff the person you claimed to have love through the mud on the reunion show to make yourself feel better. OUCH. Tiff and Mildred need to split up for good, to me their relationship was mostly transactional.

I didn't like how Tiffany reacted about the her dog. Sam didn't say that she wasn't against the dog but didn't want the dog in the bed because she needs her leg room. People being comfortable the first night with their new partner walking around in their underwear and sleeping naked says something. I don't know if I would be comfortable that soon
Tiff’s dog is basically her inner child projected outward…any perceived slight to her dog is a direct rejection or attack to her inner wounded child. She needs serious therapy man.

Lexi’s comment about Vanessa not being here for the “right reasons” was not about her being an influencer, at least I don’t think so.
It seemed like Lexi was more upset that 1) Vanessa thought there was no way Xander would leave her. So, she doesn’t feel the same stakes and is just looking at this as an opportunity to fool around for three weeks in a way that Xander can’t possibly be mad about. But even more so that 2) Vanessa is not here to process any feelings about marriage / getting married. And isn’t that the whole premise of the show? You can leave engaged with the person you came with, a new person who is more compatible / feels the same way about marriage, or solo. And Vanessa is not planning to do ANY emotional work.
I don't necessarily think the premise is to get engaged or married.... It's fine Vanessa doesn't want marriage and doesn't want to have discussions about it. Can anyone tell me if I missed something where it was explicitly said you have to want engagement and marriage to be on the show?
@@LoveToday8 You have to be open to the process. It's fine if at the end of the day you don't want to get married, but it seems that Vanessa doesn't even want to try. She already have her answers and is waisting Xander's time.
@@Miranda-gi9fx I think Xander is wasting her own time. Seems like Vanessa has been open for a while marriage isn't a goal for her. There's plenty of people who don't want marriage but are still invested in their relationship. I'm separating her lack of desire from marriage from her commitment to the relationship. It doesn't seem like she has either though and I find the latter (lack of commitment to the relationship with Xander) more concerning. I'm not convinced the whole premise of the show is to "see the light" about marriage. Not everyone wants to be married and that's okay. The whole premise of issuing an ultimatum is wild. If someone feels the need to do that, might as well end the relationship.

For the Yoly conspiracy: if we take what she said at face value and she doesn’t like to be touched but yet feels comfortable enough to have Xander to touch her pretty much immediately… that should be a a big clue about what she should do.
Honestly I think people are watching this show from the lens of a straight person but it’s literally a show about QUEER people. The dynamics are not the same! Same sex couples (lesbians) tend to develop really intense feelings a lot faster than the norm. I get that the pacing seems really fast but it’s honestly not that different from real life so it’s something to keep in mind.

I was watching this thinking "oh this is what they're talking about when they say lesbians move fast" ive only ever dated men so im worried about how are mal and lexi already in love... but apparently this is not uncommon in this type of dynamic.

Watching Rea and Vanessa's 1s night made me SO UNCOMFORTABLE. Vanessa was CONSTANTLY touching and hanging of of Rea and making things sexual. Rea was clearly overwhelmed.
Rea isn't able to voice anything, but I didn't think she was uncomfortable lol.

I think with this season/version of the Ultimatum since it’s all queer couples makes for more messy drama. It gives each of them more options and people to explore. Compared to season 1 which was heterosexual couples I think limited options and couples leaving before things got started changed the vibes.
This show is crazy! I didn’t initially think scripted though until you mentioned it. I was more so attributing the differences in emotionality to the fact that they are (mostly)all women. I think the dynamics of the relationships are different and wayyyy more intense and emotional
Yea alot ppl dont get LESBIAN relationship energy. Which is good they have this show, People can learn about other people. Women fall in love with women FAST and intensely. Itsdifferent from a hetro relationship where sex happening the first night causes unfixable damage and other things that cause a man to run and etc.
Tiffany is only in lust with Mildred! Their chemistry is so obviously limited. If it’s not sexual , you can tell they should not be together at all. It is very toxic. Tiffany love language is physical touch, so is Mildreds and obviously that is not working for them. Mildred is highly aware that she needs more substance. Tiffany is delusional and blinded by all things physical.

No one cares if Tiff sleeps on the couch. That's not the consequence she thinks it is. I adore my dog and I like her more than most people. Yeah, but let's be serious here...if they really cared about the people they came with, they wouldn't have signed up for this show. I think it's Tiff's friend in a later episode who points out how @#$%ed up it is to live as someone else's spouse for three weeks in order to "fix" your original relationship.

Idk Xander seems to be really emotionally hooked by Vanessa. There is no way in hell that I'm going to sit at a table and defend someone who's told me to F off multiple times. I don't see Xander leaving Vanessa at the end but I think it's because Vanessa's toxic behavior is normal to them.

My theory is that Lexi has fallen for Mal’s love bombing. Mal comes off as a covert narcissist while Vanessa is more overt and the overtness of her selfishness is a turn off.

I think it’s hilarious how straight folks can’t seem to believe it’s possible for the relationships to progress as quickly. I mean there’s a reason why there are so many Uhaul lesbian jokes. As someone who is lucky enough to have one of the very few lesbian bars in the U.S. in my city, I have personally witnessed versions of every single one of the original and new couplings. Yes, the relationships tend to move along quickly as the individuals laser focus on all their similarities and the positive aspects of each other. Yes, that is also why sometimes the relationships end poorly as well because folks go from feeling incredibly connected and just running away with that feeling but then eventually get into their individual values and expectations and realize perhaps they’re not as compatible as they thought. Usually, by the time they acknowledge this realization, one or both individuals perceive they have been mislead and/or have been majorly wronged. But, I’ve seen couples drag it out or one of the partners finds someone else to move on with and then informs the other. I remember thinking the show the L Word was exaggerated for entertainment purposes, but once I started going to the aforementioned lesbian bar, I learned that it’s NOT an exaggeration at all. I said all that to say, it’s not a conspiracy 😂😂😂
Although I do believe Vanessa is there for the wrong reasons in the sense that she is not interested in marrying no damn body and she’s basically there to get her groove on….I’ll also add that even though Lexi says she warned Rae to protect Rae (I guess she thinks Rae is gullible 🤷♀️), I think that’s nonsense. Rae is an adult. If she falls for Vanessa’s shenanigans, I’d say she did so willingly (though I suspect Rae will try to play victim afterwards). The show seems definitely to be scripted. Not in the sense that everything is made up, but that there people are heavily briefed or that the producers might direct with questions in the situation. What they are saying and how well rounded it is and self reflected seems a bit too good to be true. There must be some sort of guided preparation. - I’ll watch it anyways though. 😂

I hate when cis people first learning about pronouns make preemptive excuses and explanations about *trying*. I believe she was being considerate. We’re used to using he/she pronouns and it will take some time to use other pronouns and that is not being transphobic. So get off your high horse and stop being judge mental . We’re all human and we’re doing the best we can .
