They slightly change how paralysis + break monster part works. Previously , when monster paralyzed and monster part break, the paralysis automatically cancelled. Now, even after part break, paralysis will stay until the status gone.

honestly good call on not touching the long sword. it really is in a great spot right now. you need to stay in the flow to maximize damage just as it should be.
It's simply because you have to be mindful of the timing/dodges/parries/jump attacks to be safe/deal damage which requires a lot of mastery, same as in mainline games.
@@iammnms but even so, out of all weapons that currently exist in MHN, LS mechanic are more simple and straight forward like great sword or hammer, but the skill usage is comparable of something more complex, so out of all weapons, LS is mostly the easy kind of weapon to master and the most efficient weapon if we mentioning damage dealt and damage received ratio. With LS iai slash, you got 0 damage while dealing alot of damage regarding what type of attack the monster give, and something with shield like the new lance and sword and shield, if you didn't have guard skill, you can still got some damage and the amount of damage are depending of the monster's attack pattern, and from my experience with LS, you can almost never touch the special attack since once the spirit gauge is full you can always using spirit helm breaker, and it also affected by special boost skill to give more damage. That makes LS an in between type of weapon of skill required weapon and no brainer high damage weapon, but the player either bad at it or highly skilled and no in between So overall LS is the best for MHN, at least that is my opinion based on experience, but don't get me wrong, I still like the other weapons for some change of pace and of course the mission

But damage reduction for hitting not weak spot is BS. It's like range having a negative "weakness exploit" debuff. Imagine I say all weapons gets reduced damage while hitting none weak spots and I take away the lock-on ability. Giving LBG an extra round of ammo for performing a perfect evade is a silly mitigation factor for the big nerfs because it does nothing but mess up your timing windows for reload.
And Not everyone can play in full Mode All the time. When you Are outside, people often think you record them while playing (which is illegal to do in germany) You can never really concentrate fully to the game

Yes, we do, but you have to remember that in order to dodge (slide), you need to be on the first charge (lvl 2 shot) so adding 2 makes it reach the max (lvl 4 shot). Before, it's just 1 so it reaches the 2nd charge (lvl 3 shot).
It puts the bow right where it should be... In other mh games you needed at LEAST lvl2 minds eye to extend the range to where it's set on this. Spread has more reach then its supposed to. I doubt it gets dmg reduction just tighter aim windows. I've noticed most of these are already implemented. Perfect block for example. Also hit box for wings got smaller
Stricter aim is the ideal balance and not damage nerf. They nerfed the damage instead by I think 20% on all spots that are not weak hitzones so semi-aim and non-gyro players will suffer.
They need to upgrade storage past 10500. I almost cry everyday when I gotta delete items. I work my ass off to save up all items because every item matters in the game and to just throw them away hurts. Besides that I’m level 97 mainly playing solo.
It wasn't bad. I honestly feel like I get a lot more out of the paralysis effect, now that breaking parts doesn't remove paralysis. I've been able to take down 7* monsters with ease using a 7/5 Girros SnS. Just made my way to 8* monsters. Hopefully, the uninterrupted paralysis will allow me to deal with the new 8* challenge.
Im using the same weapon and i can beat 8 star jagras, pukei, and girros. For 8 star tobi i need to use 7/5 jargas sns. For the rest of the monster, it seems impossible with a grade 7/5. Really need to farm gems for upgrade
Hope Niantic give Lbg moveset an overhaul. It lacks an actual dps move chaining from perfect evade that other weapons do, and its hold action is basically the same as tapping. Niantic should expand more moveset using the hold action for all weapons. SnS get manual charge slash from hold->back swipe, GS get tackle from hold->front swipe, Bow get four direction charge evade from hold->any direction swipe.
Not to mention the character tend not to go in front the monster closer, the hit box for of new monsters is frustrating, and the new monsters attack more often and doesn't stop so you don't have a chance to hit the monster because you're dodging all the time and lastly the monsters stalls allot which is anoying.
Perfectly agreed on gs and hammer buffs. Bow nerfs are bs. Have u tried to hit a diablos weak spot? Nerf range and non weak spots but at least buff the damn weak spot dmg, gimme at least on reason to keep maining bow, i was already playing at semi close range anyway.
IMHO in a game like this every time the make a balance change they should allow to full refund zenny and materials so that if one now wants to change he can do it with out double cost. Say a want to switch from bow to hammer, whay should a start oover the farm?

@@PauwerPlays didnt feel like a nerf.. I used to do around 300-500 each arrow consistently with fire pierce on 8 star barroth. I usually play at a closer distance, so pierce did not do as much as I wanted just because the monster keeps running to me. Now I'm doing 400-600
I want they fix the monster charge attack, is anoying after they charge attack, they charge again to opposite direction and i need to run to catch up and timer need stop when we down to give choice use potion or retreat.
Indirect nerf to Piercing. They should have make hitting weakpoints more rewarding to compensate, its not like we can always hit weakpoints, not a well thought out idea from their side tbh.
@@iammnms It's not really noticeable to be honest; that one or two hits in the pierce on the non-weak spot doing 18-20% less damage in very little in the overall damage output (that's mainly comes from hitting the week spots). It's only a big damage reduction if people that can't be bother to focus their attacks on weak spots. Yes breaking multiple parts is harder comparing to before, but that's simply because Bow was too broken in the first place comparing to other weapons.

Reading it again, the bonus ammo just happens is ammo is full. Which sucks

The range of the Monster cries are way to high now. I dont think people will build an earplug build just for that. Its not worth it

For some reason, it also nerfs your shots that pierces through as you get lower procs on non-weak spots. You will notice it in-game.
