Andy Bales' End of Month Update - April 2023

I want to give you an End-of-April update.
One of the highlights of the Easter period was seeing our teenagers at Hope Gardens walking up to the cross that was set up for the Jewish folks. We had a fellow walk our team through a Christ-based seder out at Hope Gardens, and it was an incredible experience for our families.
We also had our TV special, Angels of Hope, which was hosted by Natalie Morales and Joel McHale at CVS Studios, the Radford Studios. We had over 70,000 people tune in, and we raised over $2.2 million. It was the best yet, and we have more to come on that.
The next morning, we had our Easter Sunrise Service on our roof. It's always one of my favorite times of the year because we celebrate a living, Savior. That's why we do what we do at the Union Rescue Mission. We know that there's always an opportunity for miraculous change, and we serve a living Savior.
Speaking of hope, I am standing here at the United States Courthouse in LA. I am here because I believe in the power of hope, and I know that with your support, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it the most.
We could not do this life-saving life-changing work without you.
