The OG Japan release came with oval laces. Only thing diff is that the wings logo is NOT a jewel patch and jumpman on the tongue. Stop complaining. People quick to complain when they don’t know the history of the shoe.

You're always so well spoken, but this one needed more research sir. You said you were a Jordan 1 purist, but what you missed is that these are based on the very first Retro+ Js! All the Jordan 1s you like owe a lot to these 2001 pairs and this Tokyo pack is super important to the history.

These are a retro from like 19 years ago. They were only released in Japan then. They made them just like they did back then. I think they are fire AF!! But on another note, thanks for your videos keep them coming!! Much respect!!

TomStefaniuk this video shows clearly you know nothing about Jordan 1 history and lineage. The details you’re complaining about (oval laces, wing logo, tongue) are all distinctive features from the 2001 Japan release version.
