Wow, Ryan! The ComposerCloud is a very nice offer! I look forward to getting to know it and using it. Another Wow, Ryan! You speak faster than a prestissimo tempo, yet each word is understandable! Comprehension of what you said is another matter (but that's in my ball park, not yours 😉). Back in the 80s, I played under an irreverent conductor who like to use what he called "tempo di tear ass!" That's you, dude! I look forward to listening to this video (and others) many times. Cheers!
my DAW is installed on hard drive c. can the DAW also access the eastwest instruments if I install the eastwest instruments on my external hard drive? because my hard drive c has too little space and my external ssd hard drive has 4 Terabyte😊
Yes - Absolutely. Make a main 'EastWest' folder on your external drive (on windows keep that path short so as to not get a filepath length limit, ex. D:\EastWest\ ). Then in the EW Installation Center you can go to the Main Menu > Library Directories... , and in Opus' Settings (gear icon) > Preferences > Locations tab and set up that Drive_Letter:\EastWest\ folder as the default install location for full libraries and the 'on demand download' location and they'll write directly to that drive.
WARNING: Do NOT use the sound cloud based service. Why? When your subscription ends, all the East West sounds in your projects suddenly stop working. Yep! I purchase all my Easy West libraries, that way, they can’t hold my recording projects hostage until I resubscribe.
Actually you can bounce out your EastWest instruments into your DAW session and you still get to keep those forever, even if you leave ComposerCloud. You would only have to resubscribe if you want to add new instruments or change existing ones.
awesome. just dived in for a years subscription. those strings are unreal.
You are absolutely best in the whole vst market! Thank you for this service!
