    I was concerned buying one sound library didn't equal the cost of what I was getting, but seeing the in depth complexity of Opus, I feel like I'm getting wayyy more than what I paid for. I'm going to deep dive into this. Thanks for the overview!

    Thank you very much! I "limited" to compose only using EW instruments instead of being having a bunch a other plug-ins. More I videos like that just help to understand how much we need to understand what we have before getting more things. Your video helped me a lot. THANK YOU!

    Okay, so this is basically the most powerful midi controller now. My question then is, can we use this to manipulate other libraries? If so, Opus would be irreplaceable. Even if some manual import and export required, you could still use Opus to control everything.

    Just starting to use EW instruments so this video is really useful. I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment but I've bookmarked it to come back to. Which I will for a long time to come. One question - if you save a MIDI recording can be be imported into the DAW. If so how?

    • @EWQLTutorials
      @EWQLTutorials  Před měsícem +1

      You would want to use Opus as a plugin within your DAW so the DAW is recording midi/Opus responds in kind

    In my installation of OPUS, I don't see "Libraries and Database", I instead see "Installed and Search". Because of this, I am not able to see libraries/instruments that are part of my subscription that are not installed. What can I do to get OPUS to show "Libraries and Database"?

  • @richardstartin4656

    I have quite a simple question. How do you remap sounds to different midi notes. For example, I have a Yamaha electronic drum kit and am currently trying to use the Beatles pack. Now, the notes aren't mapped to the right parts of the kit, for example let's say my crash cymbal is B3, but on the keyboard it's greyed out and the crash cymbal is A2.
    How do I change it so everything triggers the right sounds?
    Thank you.

  • @PhilZeGerman

    So will this be included in the Composer Cloud? Play looks like it's from 1991 but I'm not gonna pay every month AND buy another engine haha. Looks cool tho. Would be awesome if this became a part of the CC. All the best

    East West Please allow a MIDI DRAG & DROP in all DAWS, I recently bought Native Instruments Action Strings 2 and Plugin Boutiques Scale 2 these products do what Orchestrator do whilst having the drag and drop option. This will actually elongate the life of Orchestra as routing the patterns to completely different EW instruments will stop Orchestrator from eventually sounding stock as quite a few reviewers have stated. You've got a TREMENDOUS product, don't be left behind. Please allow Midi drag n drop

    • @EWQLTutorials
      @EWQLTutorials  Před 2 lety

      All CC subscribers have access to the Opus engine. You need to load an instrument in Opus, go to the Play page, then the MIDI Tools section. Click on the top right three dots, then Add MIDI Tool, then you can add the Arpeggiator to your loaded instrument.

    • @tysonhawk5437

      @@EWQLTutorials Right. I've been doing that but there is no instrument sound regardless of which one I load. Interestingly, when I deactivate the arpeggiator button on upper left-hand side, there is sound. But once I activate again, no sound. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but don't know what.

    • @EWQLTutorials
      @EWQLTutorials  Před 2 lety

      Your DAW has to be in play mode for the arpeggiator to playback in the DAW.
