It's an interesting situation because you want your top WCW guys to face your top WWE guys. And Booker T and The Rock could put on a banger of a match. I think this part was fine, you get a Rock promo, it's going to be an a-hole, that's the character. But what they failed at was letting the feud last long enough and be competitive enough for Booker T to wipe that smirk off the Rock's face. Rock could still win, whatever, but it should have been close enough for Rock to realize he could lose.

It sucks that Vince held such a grudge. Booker T was literally one of the best wrestlers in the world at this time and Vince’s plan wasn’t to strap him up and have him win the HHH match, NOOOOO NELLY, it was to have the rock bury him, hype him up for a while and have HHH bury him at WrestleMania
