Step inside our parlor for an Afternoon Cuppa Tea. I wish to say how grateful and honored I am to receive your views and comments; wishing all of you a wonderful Christmas season. A correction on the company Fortnum and Mason, founded in 1707, I miss-spoke in saying 707 (that would've been pretty amazing!)
In this video we'll put together a Naturally lovely and scented Winter Centerpiece to use as Christmas and Winter Decor. All you need are your dried flowers and herbs and a Large potted Rosemary Plant to create this Edwardian Beauty.
I always look forward to your videos. When I was 12 our neighbor was Mrs. Long she was from England she was probably in her 80s. Her home was so much like yours and she introduced me to tea. I would visit her often and she would make me a cup of tea in her beautiful tea set. We sit in her velvet old couch and she bring out her picture books and tell me stores of when she was young. I will soon be 80 myself yet it seems like yesterday. She was truly a wonderful person.
Thank you for sharing your home decor ideas and I have learned so much from you regarding gardening. Have a Wonderful New Year. I look forward to your next video.
That is such a delightful story! She shared her tea, her stories and created for you a beautiful memory.
Awwwh I love this comment 🥺🥺
R R Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. ❤️
When i read this story it brought tears to my eyes. Reminds me of who my Grama was. Love to hear the past stories of the older folks...OH HOW I RESPECT THEM ALL***

Indeed! It's your home and should reflect your tastes
The opening with the soft tea noises reminds me of an "ASMR" video. It's so incredibly relaxing. You're such an inspiration to me and my mom. Thank you for sharing. 🌼🌻🌺🌹🌸🌷

I lived in England for 4 years and fell in love with tea. I love your tea set.
I you are going to fall in love with tea, England is the perfect place to do it!
Thank you for your videos. Winter is my favorite the older I get.
Very pretty. Love the squirrel at your tea party.
squirrel😍👍
Love the collection and saving of these odd blue pieces. Still worthy of use & deserve to be treasured.
I am from England. I am a homing pigeon from the west coast have lived a few miles from my 3x Great Grand Nan's home in Somerset, UK. I spent 12 yrs there, and when I came back to the states I became aware I was very Continental. I decor in English cottage, coastal, with antiques I dragged from England back to America. I had to sneak French provincial furnishings in by refurbishing in English Cream as my husband is English. I picked up a great deal of culinary and living traditions from England. I know my great grandnan must have done those traditions just like her neighbor did in her era. I enjoyed your outside landscapes, as they do remind me of an treasured era now gone by.
Very Interesting, I would love to learn some of those traditions as my heritage is English as well.
So beautiful !!!
Your blue and white dishes caught my eye. My everyday dishes are Liberty Blue which my mother and sister literally stumbled upon a set for 4 in a thrift store. I love all things blue and white!
Yes, the Blues are really stunning, so glad you have a set!-
Thank you, I love learning about the different teas, the beautiful tea cups and teapots.
Your "weed from the fields" is an herb, Life Everlasting , also called Rabbit Tobacco. It makes a calming tea for the nerves and is used in small sleeping pillows like lavender.
Thankyou, i like the name of that herb!
I'm glad you have the bustle over, and can relax and enjoy your lovely home. Happy, Merry Everything!
Your videos I find comforting. I love the soft dried floral. I will be hunting down my tea strainer it's in a bottomless kitchen drawer. Thank you I needed a pick-me-up hope you keep on the mend.
Hope you find it!
Beautiful like a dream, thank you and have a blessed Christmas 🎄
😌💗👍

I appreciate your channel, it inspires me.
Yes, They are perfect for the vase and then, before they start to wilt, tie them together and hang upside down.
very nice😍😍😍amazing I shared with my mom😘😘👍👍👍
I enjoy the red transfer wear. I do pretty much the same. Thrift store treasures, sometimes a piece here and there. I see them and snap them up!
There is always a debate in England as to whether to put the milk in before or after pouring the tea. It makes a lot more sense to put it in after pouring as all teas are different and you never know how strong it is going to be. Also we would never put the leaves in the strainer in the cup. The tea leaves would only ever be put in a pot. Having said that it was a good choice to use Fortnum and Mason. They are one of the best and their shop is well worth a visit to anyone coming to London. They do a fabulous menu and wonderful afternoon tea.
It makes more sense to me, adding the cream after pouring the tea, but I generally don't drink my tea with milk or cream. I often put my tea directly into the strainer, but to each his own. I hope to visit their shop one day, in the meantime, I have 4 different Fortnum and Mason Teas to enjoy here in my own little parlor.
Jeri Landers of Hopalong Hollow Having four of their teas has got to be the next best thing. Enjoy the teas and yes you would have a marvellous time if.you visit.
Aah !! Your strainer reminds me of Peter rabbit, Beatrix Potter, the Blue crockery and the tea near cozy fireplace she prepares after the rain showers in the nearby woods. And the song..... it's just a perfect day......🎶🎶🎵🎵 👌👌🌷🌹🌺🌻
Oh WOW, I need to watch that again, Really? I haven't seen it in years, did not know she was using the Blue wear!
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow yes for sure you just watch the title song of Beatrix potter &The story of Peter Rabbit by Rosalie Vieira you tuber but the title song Perfect day is sung by Miriam Stockely. Love to watch your videos. Thanks !!!😊

Beautiful ritual of making tea ☕️! I thank you for my cup of tea in such a lovely cup. The arrangements were gorgeous, especially the rosemary tree I believe the roses is what did it for me.

Jeri, I want to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Safe and Happy New Year!

Jeri the teapots and blue china is just fascinating and beautiful to look at, we don’t have many antique or thrift shops here in SA unfortunately so I find observing your vlogs gives joy to me and truly wish I could go on the hunt here.🌺🌸🌿

this is the Hygge i needed today. Thank you x
Merry Christmas, your channel is such a gift for me, thank you for sharing beauty, history, and hospitality.
The East India Tea Co in Boston MA is still there! They may have had their tea dumped in the harbor but they survived. I agree that the hunt for service pieces and various plates and cups and saucers is far more interesting and fun than buying a whole matching set. Love your channel.
Yes, that's right, I tracked them down and was going to order the actual type of tea...but the shipping was too much.
Love to listen to you and watch your videos!
So simple. So sweet. So beautiful, Jeri. Thank you and Merry Christmas!🌟
I had a lovely time having tea with you. Thank you. 💗
You are slowly going to convert me from coffee to tea. It looks lovely.
