It is very important to trim their nails to prevent health issues. i do it about once a month but it depends on how quickly the nails grow. they should be short enough so that their feet can lay down on a flat surface without the toes bending.

Aww I’m glad the adults were sweet! With chickens, you have to be very careful introducing new members to a flock, especially younger or smaller ones, since they have very strict hierarchies.
Very true, as an owner of 3 flocks. When we introduce the new chooks to our flock, we keep them in a separate fenced off area in away that they can still interact. After a few weeks, we let them explore and meet the rest of our chickens. It works for every flock that I have owned.
Aww please keep making these type of videos. I wish I could pet all of them. Mine died in 2019 and the current one is too aggressive. I would love to pet your birds.
@@debolinachatterjee1726 Yeah I got lean because my birds started biting softly Recently my cockatiel got angry when I tried to show her a blue rope so she bit me mistaking my finger for an object It hurt But she calmed the bites as soon as she realised it was my finger
i love their body language - they never once threaten the lil' baby and the baby isn't even too concerned just overwhelmed by the perils of life tbh
