The worst part about this is that it wasn't the 20 year old kids' own hate. It was hate he inherited from the media. It was other people's hate poured into him. Which he could've avoided by putting down the phone.

The "kid" was an adult. He could take out a loan, drive a car, get married, have children and think for himself. He decided to do it all and accepted the words of others as truth without informing himself.
The phone did nothing at all, it didn't move his legs or arms or pull the trigger.

He made the choice but you literally cannot lie by saying the hate of the democratic party didn't influence his decision to do what he did. If he didn't have access to social media then he likely wouldn't have even been indoctrinated into a hateful hive mind to begin with and he wouldn't have done this. Obviously he was legally a child until very recently and the hatred he had didn't just appear overnight, he was indoctrinated into that way before this happened because he was an easy to influence kid, which is the favorite target of liberals.

The internet, social media is like a river we all drink from. And someone is pouring poison of hatred up the stream and no one is checking on it.
Maybe everyone needs to stop using social media like Facebook, instagram. CZcams always has videos on why that stuff is contorting and controlling you. I only check CZcams and can’t even turn on the tv unless it’s to watch a movie or sport. Everything else seems to be weaponized

And putting a scratch of confidence back in me when I lost it all. I never met the guy but will always be grateful and thankful for what he did for me and helped me through and still does
Same here, when I started running I listened to his book to help me maintain discipline. Since then I’ve kept pushing myself to be better and to defy complacency. I never thought I’d ever climb out of the rut I’d spend years digging for myself. Love this guy and I’m grateful for what he does. Andrew Huberman’s podcasts helped me too. I feel like a completely different person than I was 2 years ago, and I couldn’t be happier.

What he's talking about reminds me of sitting an listening to some elderly Buffalo Soldier reenactors and they were just so amazing. I am definitely not hating on the video, nor the situation, but the only thing I disaprove of is the fact that people are blaming this all on social media. "Oh, phone bad" "Technology is dangerous" "Social Media is a bad influence." Now, while I disapprove of what the man did, I don’t really think he was influenced by social media, because, its a president we're talking about here, and people have strong love and hate towards political people. Social media definitely did not influence that hate. You don’t have to own a phone to know what's going on in the world, so I'm guessing it wasn’t really other people on the internet that influenced this man. That's my only criticism though.
