      For only cleansing your face, this cleanser is a great choice. However, if you wear sunscreen or makeup, then this cleanser may not be a good option. For that, I recommend using Paula's Choice Omega cleansing balm (best option but expensive!) or The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser they work great on all skin types.

    I accidentally bought it and am not too fond of the ingredients if I'm honest. I used both cleansers from grüum before and they're free of perfume and very gentle for my skin. Even if my skin isn't that sensitive when it comes to the basics I stick to rather gentle products.

      Well, it depends on what you have on your skin, I do not see any need for double cleanse unless you have to remove stubborn makeup or sunscreen. But then it also depends on the cleanser you are using, and some cleansers can remove everything effortlessly in one go. So it really depends 🙂

    Does anyone have experience with this turning brown? It’s not so much in the bottle itself, but around the pump. Mine has a constant buildup of yellow/brown gel around the inside of the pump that I cannot get to go away. I use this daily and I haven’t had it for long, so I’m just wondering what is going on.

    • @MelissaVanDijkOfficial
      @MelissaVanDijkOfficial  Před rokem

      It is likely that the discoloration and buildup around the pump of your cleanser are due to exposure to air and the accumulation of bacteria, dirt, or other contaminants.
      You can try to take out the pump from the bottle to clean it thoroughly. You can use a dishwasher to clean it, or you can manually clean it using a good dishwashing liquid and a sponge.
      But if the discoloration and buildup persist or if you are concerned about the cleanliness of the product, you may want to purchase a new bottle. This way, you can ensure that everything is clean and free from any potential contaminants.
      Alternatively, you could try a different version or brand of cleanser if you suspect that the current product is the issue. Personally, I've used up my bottle of Neutrogena cleanser quickly without experiencing any issues, but I have encountered similar problems with other cleansers that have pumps.
