- I'm in Germany to see how SSR Performance have built the ULTIMATE 911 Turbo! This is the new SSR GT, a 900hp+ 992 generation Porsche 911 that is limited to only 10 units, and we're taking it to the Autobahn to see what it's like. Join me for a full tour of the fabulous facility and test drive!
Fresh off the back of a race win at the DTM, SSR Performance are here to make a statement and that's certainly one way to go about it! However, today we are visiting the full facility and getting to grips with the SSR GT and the mind blowing power it has on tap. On site we can tour the showroom, workshop, dyno facility, some of the storage areas, and explore some very cool features they've added. However the 140-car nitrogen filled supercar storage is off limits!
The car of the day is the SSR GT, based on the newest gen 911 Turbo S and packing over a 900 horsepower punch. Featuring numerous motorsport performance enhancements from the visual side, to the engine upgrades, and beyond to create a full package that can easily be called the ultimate 911 Turbo. We're taking a look at the striking prototype in the workshop; because there's more than meets the eye with aerodynamics underneath the car, and the wind-tunnel-tested parts throughout.
After a walk through tour with Timo Vogt, Head of Engineering at SSR Performance, it's going to be time for us to get out onto the road - and of course being Germany, that means the Autobahn! It's here where the effortless power of the SSR GT really leaves its mark and starts to make something like my Lamborghini Huracan STO seem rather pedestrian in comparison.

The Turbo S is the best overall car in the world IMO. Truly a Jack of all trades that’s also crazy tunable.

@@youngtobbie1433 You can go high speeds on any good road and little traffic. The only difference is illegality; most people in Germany just drive regular highway speeds

Had a serious play in a friends 2022 Turbo S with an 850bhp Litchfield tune (and some other bits) yesterday......turns the accelerator pedal into a hyperspace button 😁 Been out in many other things I can't afford but NOTHING gets close to the 911...what an absolute masterpiece!

Oh my God! It's like Porsche doesn´t even need to brag about numbers. Even with this mod, reaching 280 in that short distance with the car completely stable and solid, talks about what Porsche is about. Thanks for the great videos Tim you are the best! Unlike some other performance versions of the Turbo S this car doesn't take a step down in the looks department. As a matter of fact, this car looks like a Porsche GT product. An AWD GT2 for street, track and the drag strip! Beautiful 💯

That is one high tech building! The Nitrogen Storage is out of this world, not to mention the ultimate theft deterrent, could the Engine even start in a Nitrogen room?
I have many, MANY questions about that storage facility; like how do you maneuver the vehicle in there, and then get out yourself? Can't imagine a whole life-sustaining suit fitting inside some of those exotic cockpits!
Nope you can't start a car in that room, you also can't access the room. The cars are brought in using a fully automated transport system. The car is loaded onto this system outside the room and then transported into the room.
@@Shmee150 Yeah I guessed there was an automated system for transporting them in and out! It must cost a fortune to keep your car in there?
