Women have a long history of being ignored and having their ideas taken by men while they get none of the credit. The field of science is full of geniuses that happen to be female, but the culture at the time made it impossible for them to climb so they had to accept the fact the only way their discovery would see the light of day is if it was presented by a man. Rick from the show of all people would know this and think you an idiot for not only denying that it happened but claiming it doesn't happen anymore. It happens to men too, but it isn't an ingrained social issue for men like it is for women. Why do you think there's so few women higher up the corporate ladder despite modern women chasing such jobs just as often as men do in the modern age?

@@RockStationForChrist That's the minority of workplaces. Most of the time they're shut down pretty hard and not listened to due to toxic workplace culture, especially the higher the ladder you climb.
As for your 2nd point, I feel like that itself isn't acceptable. Everyone gets an opinion about how each other should act. We need to be aware of each other's boundaries and what is acceptable and what isn't. Some things men do make women uncomfortable, especially in the workplace. If you respect women, you'll respect that just as you should respect how men believe women should behave. Of course, these opinions should be taken with a grain of salt as a man who thinks women should be quiet and submissive is not an opinion that is to be taken seriously, nor is the opinion of a woman who thinks men should cater to her every need. There's a lot more nuance to this topic than number 2 implies.
