  • It is always hard to photograph a boat being built, a video is better but can still be confusing. Note: as always no audio, so please read the text below
Anyway. Here is the first Skoota 32 powercat being built in foam sandwich at Jacktar Boatworks, Cornwall www.jacktarsboatworksltd.com/
The Skoota 32 is a semi displacement powercat suited for a liveaboard cruising couple. Narrow enough to fit down the French canals. Seaworthy enough to go anywhere, fuel range permitting.
The videos shows the port hull, working aft: Office space, workshop, spare bunk. then galley up and big saloon. Starboard hull is the owners side. Double bunk forward, then heads and shower compartments aft.
    Other layouts are feasible
Launching will be in 2018. Plans are available for building the boat yourself. Also there is a demountable option with smaller central cabin
More details on the boat here sailingcatamarans.com/index.ph...

Richard , did you know a Chap named George buelher? (R.i.p).
You've both a very logical methodology and layout about your designs. He lived in your neck of the woods. Freeland , Washington.

Yes I know the name of course. Never met him though. My home is actually Cornwall, UK but I visit the PNW quite often
