If there's a Bad Daddy's Burger Bar near you, while not necessarily fast food, has a custom burger where you can add toppings including peanut butter. And it goes hard, definitely recommend.

Yeah I don't know why I don't have one of those. Peanut Butter is my jam (pun maybe intended).
Went to Sonic recently and saw that on the menu, didn't try it. Might go try it soon though. *edit* Got one, it's not bad. Actually one of the better-tasting burgers I've had from Sonic, the peanut butter is subtle but that's also fine. Can taste the peanut butter but it kinda gets drowned out buy the rest of the flavors in there. The whole thing is tasty though, the flavors work well together and I like how it only has onions and not a big mess of vegetables.
The next time you grill a burger, put a spoon of peanut butter on when you would normally put the cheese on. Then add onions and pickle and bacon.

Recently I’ve quite enjoyed their BBQ Burger, Garlic Butter Burger, and Pickle Fries, their new releases have all been wins for me surprisingly.
A few years ago they had a “crave” sauce, whatever that means, that was quite good! Wish it stayed on the menu.

There's a local place where I live that's sold peanut butter burgers as long as I've been around this area (yeeears) and it's one of the best things ever. I think if you do it right, it can be really good.

There's a place roughly an hour from my location called Burgatory that serves a Wagyu burger with your choice of over 50 toppers; peanut butter being one of them. The first time I decided to try it I was blown away at what PB can do to a good burger. Takes nothing away and adds so much.

yeah we have a plae here called Beer 88 that has one of their signature burgers that has peanut butter, and yes, its amazing
i think how well the peanut butter goes on a burger depends on both the burger and other toppings, fast food burgers i suspect wont do quite as well with it

There's a bar and grill joint here called Lucky 13 that is known for its burgers, and they have a "Nutter Butter Burger" that's almost this same combo -- Peanut Butter, Bacon, and Cheddar, it's very good (although all their burgers are good).

Highly recommend making this at home with your favorite PB brand. It's super simple to do, and if you like thai food (like certain things in peanut sauce) you will understand right away why this would be a great combo.

Sonic burger have been tasty for me in the past. Bacon, cheese, beef, onion, and peanut butter. I would totally eat it, but I agree, is a novelty. I love learning to cook for myself, cost effective, tastes delightful.

This seems like a pretty risky product considering the amount of people with peanut allergies and the amount of times they get peoples orders wrong.

I feel if you have deadly allergies to something, then eat at places that are safe (as in dont serve the allergen). There are plenty of varieties of restaurants out there. Eating at a fast food restaurant is a great way to get exposed even if you didn't plan on it.
SIX dollars for 1 bun, 1 patty, 1 strip of bacon, 1 piece of cheese and some onions. And of course barely any peanut butter to even see. If that isn't a damning indictment of how expensive fast food is, idk what is.

My favorite Sonic items are the Supersonic Breakfast Burrito, Pretzel Twist and Ched 'R' Peppers. Perhaps these items are too basic to be of interest, though. I always get the real fruit strawberry slush.

Peanut butter in a burger is so good. I know we're used to eating PB for breakfast here, but in other parts of the world, it's a pretty popular condiment for meat.

They probably use a cheap brand of peanut butter. Lots of oil, neutralizing the little bit of sugar inside, just my guess though.

We were excited because we first had a peanut butter burger in Portland Oregon at Killer Burger. Sonics was eh It's not terrible but it definitely needed pickles. I got the fried pickles and added it to them which helped. They did put a ton of bacon on it. Thanks for doing what you do. We always look forward to watching your videos ❤

Back in the 90's friends and I used to stop at the XXX diner in West Lafayette, IN, and get the Duane Purvis All-American, which had peanut butter on it. Quite tasty.
I always loved peanut butter. My go to is scrambled egg cheese hot sauce ketchup peanut butter pickles on a roll usually dunked in orange juice. Legit fire combo.
ReviewBruv, if you're ever in the Chicagoland area, I'd recommend Kuma's Corner, they've got a burger there called the Sourvien, with chicken and waffles in it, Sooo delish
Had my first PB Burger at Yo Momma’s in New Orleans and it was the Best Burger I ever had with the Magic of the Oil from the PB & the Grease from the Meat was Heaven. To be fair, you have to eat it while it’s Hot & Gooey. Should have reheated it in the Air Fryer!🥜🍔🎉Eaten Cold?🫣🤭
There used to be a place in Wheeling, Illinois called The Ram (I think it's gone now), that had a peanut butter burger. At first, I was a place hesitant to try it, but when I did it was one of the best burgers I had ever had.

Sonic’s big problem is that their standard burgers and stuff on the menu (apart from their beverages and ice cream products) are really sub par. They come out with burgers for a limited time that are incredible and then they take them away, example is the Island Fire Burger. It must be their drinks and ice cream that keep them in business.
I remember the Island Fire! WHY do companies get rid of amazing foods? Wendy's has the loaded nacho burger and I find it to be one of the best fast food burgers I've had for...YEARS...it'll be gone before I blink again

They had half-price cheeseburgers on Tuesdays for awhile...I thought they were surprisingly good. I usually don't go to Sonic because the lines take forever.
I work at a sonic, I have for 21 years. I agree they are so off the mark when it comes to the specials etc, we talk about it all the time, how they don’t even try anymore. One of the specific examples we use is the island fire burger, that was seriously one of the best ones we’ve ever had, but they just do boring ones now or the same ones we’ve had before. Especially since Arby’s bought them Sonic has definitely gone downhill in the specials dept

Last time I had one it was delicious but it also wasn’t fast food
A lot of Asian cuisine has peanuts and beef together, so it’s not as wild a flavour combination as you’d think

Elvis, he put peanut butter on everything. His fave sandwich was a whole loaf of bread with peanut butter, bananas, bacon and pan fried in butter. Maybe part of the reason he only lived till 42.
I'm actually a fan of peanut butter burgers and will likely try this. I will say, however, I think you hit the nail on the head with the onions. Personally, I don't believe the onions OR the cheese need to be there. Too many flavors competing for the taste buds. Removing those would allow the sweetness of the peanut butter and saltiness of the bacon to enhance the burger and you might find that peanut butter burgers are actually quite good!

For something like this to work, you need some sweet and sour aspect. For instance, this little coffee shop I used to go to in Vegas had a sandwich it called The Slap and a Tickle. It was a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich, but with bacon. The thing that made it work, it also had pickled jalapenos on it. Sounds weird, but it was awesome. Sweet, Salty, with a little kick from the jalapenos, but it was the vinegar in the pickled jalapenos that cut the richness of the peanut butter, bacon and jelly, that tied that mess together. lol

Agreed. I think Sonic would have been better off making a good peanut butter based sauce for their burger instead of just plain peanut butter. Put some barbecue sauce, cilantro, banana, ginger and chili in there too.

Guy Fieri visited a place known for their PB burgers, the XXX Family Restaurant. He apparently loved it and the place isn't ashamed to throw the "Featured on Diners, Dine-Ins and Dives" logo on all of their advertising.
The place is in Lafayette, IN and their sirloin burgers are really good with or without peanut butter. Their fresh-cooked fries make an excellent side too. Their root beer isn't the best on the market but it's still really good and it's apparently sold across the US. They used to be a nationwide chain but are now just the one restaurant.
I just found out about this. I've seen many of your videos. What a great way to describe this to me. I was and am still thinking on making this tonight at home. A Brisket Wahalburger and Skippy ( homemade ) and see for myself.
