🙂 It's about time we end this fiasco of a fast food company that has brought pain and misery to your tastebuds to their customers. God has punished me living next door to them. 😕
Love your videos!💚
"Do people just not care about McDonald's anymore?" This is the main reason. McDonald's has gotten stingier with its sauces and prices have gone insane after covid. It's not that it costs more to run the business it's pure corporate greed and artificial inflation. I remember just a few years back I could order Mcnuggets and they'd line the bottom with packs of BBQ sauce. I love their food but it just isn't worth what they're charging these days. I might as well go to Domino's. They're the same prices they've always been and you get a large pizza at the cost of one Big Mac. Wages aren't going up so where do these businesses get off raising prices?
7:20 saved yall over 7 minutes.
I stopped eating fast food when I found out about pink slime. All fast food is poison
Great vid!!
Mc'Ds use to be cheap, trash food. Now they are expensive, trash food.
I am not paying sit down restaurant prices to eat in my car. Especially when they do not get my order right 50% of the time.
Not to mention people being sexually assaulted, or homeless people shooting up, in the toilets. While the staff are expected to be physically assaulted by deranged customers while being paid minimum wage.
McDonalds deserves to fail and are seemingly going out of their way to.
What are you ordering to where they aren’t getting your order right literally half the time? They get my order right like 99% of the time.
yea but its got your pfp all over the bag
@@Skonkgasm If it did, that would be one spicy bag....
@@TheIfrena2000 I am happy for you? As for ordering, nuggets most of the time I get no sauce or they just grab a handful of junk and toss it in the bag. I order something without pickles, it comes with pickles. I order more than one meal, then either I am missing a item or my kids/wife is missing a item. You name it, it happens.
McDonald's forgot that they where were you go when you have $5 in your pocket and want a hot meal. They lost almost all of their demographic when they removed cheaper menu items in favor of higher margin items.
one single shitty cheeseburger is 2 and change. fucking outrageous. even a white castle burger is better
I normally choose KFC's burger even though they're more known for their fried chicken. The burger is actually delicious and the deals are crazy on KFC from at least where I live. I'd say KFC and Mc Donald's are both trying to get one or another thing from each other so that it's like, "Oh well KFC is good but doesn't Mc Donald's have everything they do and more?". That's why they have secret ingredients so they live out. But Mc Donald's burgers are expensive, at least the actually good ones. But KFC would give you so much in a low price deal.

Price going up and quality going down is exactly why I stopped going there. You can literally get a burger and fries at some sit down places for cheaper than McDonalds now.

_"people are waiting on fast food to be affordable again"_
Surely when they raise minimum wage to $30/hour prices will go down
I'm almost certain that McDonald's raising their prices to 2x the original price preemptive to actual inflation rates is the reason customers are pissed 😡.
A $1 item is now $2.50, and a meal used to be between $5-7 and now meals are $10 or more!
They set the bar on inflated pricing, and other restaurants followed suit. Yet, McDonald's in my area charges more for their items than any other fast food chain years later.
I'm actually angry that the inflation rates are said to be around 3% when soda used to be $3 for a 12 pack of cans, and now it's $9 for a 12 pack of cans.
The soda industry inflated their prices in lockstep with McDonald's.
Corporate food chain restaurants are so predatory and they don't try to hide it or justify it.
I assume they believe in the phrase, "all's fair in love and war"....in their case it would be "all's fair in profit and capitalism"
That is totally fair for them to do that as it is THEIR business, nothing wrong with it. I fully support McDonald's and soda companies raising their prices to ridiculous degrees, I hope they keep rising.
Just take the nudge these companies are giving you. Stop eating McDonald's and stop drinking pop.
You should only really be drinking water anyway. And if you want a burger so bad, go to the local Safeway and you can spend $6 on a bag of 10 freezer burgers that are 91% lean. These burgers don't produce much grease and since they're frozen, will last you a long while.
@@youtubesucks1821 Yeah, my immediate reaction is "those greedy sobs" but then I remember I don't eat this junk anyway and it's good that prices are driving people away from garbage (as you said) Im still learning haha

A very salty Asian soy/chili pepper sauce that tastes like a preserve that would be good for marinating chicken wings or making a stir-fry sauce but has ZERO business being with mcdonalds.
the sauce demands something fresh and light, to cut its saltiness. McDonalds isn't that.
Fast food companies have forgotten that 90% of the reason people buy it, is because of the value. Not a lot of people are eager to pay restaurant prices for literal poison.

I don't care about McDonalds anymore due to their prices, the reason I went there is I could get some cheap food that tasted good. Now it is as expensive as a sit down restaurant and the quality is a dice roll on top of that. Just not worth it for the price.
Where is anyone going for "cheap" fast food anymore? All fast food is 2x the price of 2019.
I wonder the same thing? I can’t find anything cheaper than McD.
All the public wants is affordable, edible food.
You get neither.
Best we can do is a 6/10 sauce.
Sold by a Clown
The public needs to ban fast food until it A becomes cheaper B improves itself in the meantime the public needs to learn how to cook
Can do that with Biden in office raise gas prices once gas goes up and stays there eveything of earth goes up because eveything on earth runs and is transported with gas and oil
New sauce or branding doesn’t justify the price, McDs just isn’t a good value anymore
At least they are consistent. I go to different Arbys, Taco Bell, Wendy’s etc and I swear each time and each place I get a slightly or greatly different meal
McDonald’s is the only place (maybe Chik Fila as well) that is 100% consistent no matter where you are at whatever time (unless you visit one that is completely ran by high schoolers and college students 😂)
This. As Report of the Week said, no originality too. To be fair, the purple shake was original. Besides that, it's basically repackaging the current menu with celebrities that no one asked for. One new sauce. Meanwhile they refuse to bring back past items that people loved like snack wraps. It took them years to bring back bagels, and I don't think that is in every market.
I don't know where you live but it's not even that expensive lmao

Just curious. 😸
At least for me, it was all just confusing. I remember seeing the WcDonald branding and thinking: "That's weird, when did they start doing that and for what?". None of the employees even mention it either, no "would you like to try/add WcDonald sauce, nothing".
I looked up WcDonald and saw that they had some kind of manga/anime tie-in, but again, I had no interest in going any deeper, shrugged it off, and moved on.
I walked by a McDonalds and saw the W and thought they put the merchandiser upside down. Took a month before I learned what was happening.
so the joke is that in anime/manga, when a place that seemingly looks very much like McDonalds is shown it's usually WcDonalds to avoid copyright stuff. a baffling amount of effort for a thing i'm not even sure people who are casually into anime/manga would see and immediately get. basically the branding isn't landing since it's nonsensical to most

$.99 McDoubles kept our family fed if we were on a road trip. Now we just pack sandwich stuff in a cooler. Terrible quality, service and prices now.
When we travel, my wife and I like to find a greasy spoon about a mile or 2 away from the highway. It's not that hard to find a good restaurant with today's technology. Most of the time we are super happy with the experience. Sometimes it's a miss. Either way we get to experience something different. On the flip side, fast food is always forgettable once the food is consumed.
Oh man... Sandwiches in coolers, bags of carrots, eventually-lukewarm juice packs... The kinda things that make me nostalgic for our family holidays throughout Europe. Given, we usually did the very Dutch thing of leaving at, like, 4AM so we'd arrive at whatever middle-of-nowhere campsite we'd be at that year at a reasonable time, and eating McD for breakfast is absolutely not a thing here.
you should've done that anyway?
You’re better off not eating terrible Goyslop
Ha I worked at a McDs when the came out, also when the double cheeseburger was a dollar and super size was a thing... the good ol days of McDs.
Prices have gone to high. Paid $4.50 just for a large fry a few weeks ago. Used to get two McDoubles and a small fry for less.
I think with the Szechuan sauce, Rick and Morty was hella carrying that campaign
I paid 60 cents for two of these and didn’t receive them in the bag. I’m very tired of McDonalds charging so much for sauces and not being diligent about putting them in the bag
Staff should get lashes for every sauce missed in the bag.
Umm.. if you ever go to Europe they give you one sauce if you have nuggets, one ketchup if you get fries. Anything more costs extra. The US and maybe Canada but not sure might be the only countries where you've been getting free sauce/ketchup
On top of their absurd prices they charge for sauces now?? Why does anyone ever eat there?????
Sauces are free through the app, atleast when I order
Weird, it was free for me even to get extra. Doesn't charge you in the app for more sauces.
They took everything that I loved away. Snack wraps, that fancy bbq cheeseburger, steak biscuit, and it’s gotten too expensive. It’s McDonald’s not a Michelin starred restaurant.
Had a steak egg & cheese biscuit this morning

Man 86ing snack wraps... Wtf were they thinking.
I work at McDonald's in Hawaii, and it is barely ordered. My suspicion is that customers are more than likely not willing to try it because these promotions are for a limited time only and/or seasonal items, are getting tired of liking something, that one cannot try all year round no matter how good it is.
this is literally me, i go to taco bell wanting my usual and every fucking time they change the menu like every 2 months at this point and its infuriating
Love your tie! Almost Escher.
The WcDonalds joke is cute if you're in on it, but the biggest mistake is expecting the novelty alone to get hype. The Grimace shake was huge not just because it was funny and brought back a fan character, but because it also had a unique menu item. The celebrity meals are very boring since it's just regular food items with their choice of toppings, but I'm aware to a lot of people that matters.
This is just a sauce in an event that's supposed to celebrate and poke fun at how McDonalds is portrayed in Japanese media and they took the cheap and cowardly route out of it. The teritama burger is huge in Japan and could easily have been an item here for it, it's a burger with a fried egg on the patty, and having that along with the sauce would have gotten a lot more attention.
It honestly feels like America is extremely lazy or likes to play it safe with fast food items tbh. I guess it would also be a hassle for the employees to deal with bringing out eggs for lunch and dinner as well. But Taco Bell may be the only place that likes to brand out when it comes to items.
💯 agree. it could have been a fun promo, i like the reference, but you're right that they didn't really... do anything with it. also based on comments i'm reading they may have over estimated how many people would get the joke. and above all that, people just DON'T want to waste their money at overpeiced fast food joints anymore!
Taco Bell's Nacho Fry anime thing was way more successful, and they even got Gawr Gura to feature in it. That's how you get weebs to pay attention to your product.
Brooooo The spicy chili sauce would have gone sooo good with an egg on a burger. You should be on the McDonald's marketing team.
@@goreweeb4566America is too expensive
I think people are just tired of mcdonalds. Its 15 bucks for a big mac meal, and the patties are practically the size of a white castle slider. The prices go up, portions go down.
I used to eat Big Macs all the time growing up. Teen in the 90’s. Yeah it’s ridiculous as to what they have become. I can’t believe how small the patties are and no lettuce to speak of oh and the tiny bit of lettuce is always brown and wilted. I remember when it literally used to be so much that you would have a nice salad with it after you burger. Just make sure you dripped your sauce into the box for dressing. 😆 I loved that!!!
It's gotta be a regional thing right? It's still $10 for a meal at my McDonald's. Big Mac is also bogo right now for $1 so you can get two for $6.

I only just realized how excellent your logo is. It looks just like an official television programme.
McDonald’s has been too busy sniffing their own farts, that’s the problem. During the pandemic they saw astronomical record profits, and as any large corporation does, they want to keep that momentum in sales, so they’ve been gradually raising their prices. They’re forgetting that at the end of the day, they’re a fast food place. Not a fancy restaurant. No one is using McDonald’s as a status item. So when they try quirky marketing, it doesn’t stick. The fact that a Big Mac meal is $13 now is ridiculous, I’m just not gonna pay for it, and that’s on top of them making their food items SMALLER gradually. A Big Mac used to BE a BIG Mac, now it’s a couple slim beef wafers and all bun.
for real. The red robin by me charges like 10 to15 for a burger. if i'm paying over 10 bucks for a burger meal it might as well be a step above fast food.
yep and piled with shredded lettuce to make it look bigger
The other issue is that McDonald’s is being forced into finally paying a living wage in many states. So instead of them making a smaller profit to offset their fancy bonuses, they just raise their prices so they can vacation in paradise every year.

Instead, I think more and more people are eating the loss and compartmentalizing the restaurant into a category of being unreliable, and not worth going back to. This is the case with McDonalds for me. Their order accuracy has plummeted over the last few years, where items will be lower in quality, incorrect, or just straight up missing. Because of this, I no longer go to or care about anything McDonalds does. That's the reason for me why I haven't been interested in this promotion.
This is exactly how I've felt for the last couple of years!
Thats KFC for me
I believe all fast foods have plummeted over the years. My wife got tired of the Taco Bell by our house messing up our order every time. So she started to go to the one a bit further out. Then about a year later, that one started messing up our order. The burger king up the street from us, had 1 staff in the whole building trying to take every one's orders. The one down the street from us was fully staff, but all we hear is yelling and fighting from the staff. Crazy!
I agree. It's a fast food restaurant at the end of the day so I'm never expecting good service but when I wait 15 minutes for the slop and then get an F u on the way out the door vs a place like Chic Fil A where I wait 5 minutes and they give me a gift card for free food why on Earth would I ever choose the former. Especially with the prices being near identical now lol
Having to get back in line, complain to the stressed out employee, wait even longer to get my correct order, it’s all too much. My brain just calculates the least stressful route for next time and the answer is usually “go to another restaurant”.
I could be wrong but I feel that in the last year there has been a rapidly growing resentment toward fast food establishments that have repeatedly inflated their prices with no equivalent increase in portion or quality
Can't have shrinkflation without inflation.
For Taco Bell the resentment started when they took away the xxl grilled stuffed burrito
@@mrfarenheit0323 Taco Bell hurt me when they gave me a bacon breakfast quesalupa for a limited time and then never brought it back. The audacity. Don’t get me started on the chipotle ranch grilled chicken burrito… 😤
I found it (Vancouver, BC) because I went for a McRib and wasn’t available. Then I saw the advertising and decided to get some nuggets to try it. I was wondering if it was the same as the szechuan sauce, but nobody ever mentioned it until now
The worst for me is the food is priced high and its never hot. Pay prime prices for cold food. 😖
What went wrong? That’s easy price hikes! Fast food was meant to be cheap, easy and convenient but with inflation it’s made it almost impossible to enjoy.
Not really inflation just corporate greed. McDonald's profits for 2023 were 10.26% higher than 2022 which was only 4% higher than 2021. Record profits from their shrinking portion size and ridiculous price increases.
Sounds like profits were on par with inflation
@@Tipper2020 Yeah. all the fast food companies just decided to suddenly all raise their prices for no reason. We have a shitty president and administration that's causing all this inflation.
@jimdayton8837 Yes fast food, grocery stores, and other merchants did have to raise prices due to supply chain issues and an increase in material costs in 2021 and 2022. It can be argued that the previous administration's inept handling of the COVID pandemic and its record-setting national debt left the current administration a lot to deal with. They handled it as can be seen from 2022 8.5% high to the end of 2023 3.1% low. These corporations never lowered their prices to consumers when their supply chain and material costs lowered. Do your research it is estimated that 50-60% of our current inflation is being caused by these companies record-setting profits.
And with 9% inflation, it's barely an increase. @@Tipper2020
When the dollar menu left, so did I.

This is an underrated comment
Can’t beat a 1 dollar mcchicken
Why is this guy so interesting? I could care less about the corporate slop.
I stopped going to McDonald’s because of the ridiculous prices They are now charging. That’s it. End of story. Can I afford it? Yes. But I stand on principle. for the same price I can go get a delicious Hawaiian barbecue plate.
Got a Big Mac meal with a shamrock shake tonight and it was over $12. Never again. I'm just gonna buy a pound of beef, a gallon tub of ice cream, and all the fixins and be fed for the week the next time I get the hankering.
how is this your second thought?
Last time i got a Big Mac meal it was $15 without a shake.
Invest in a deep freezer
I had to get my yearly shamrock shake & I used the app which dropped the total by 20% (better than full price), but it's still a little expensive. I got the nugget meal, but didn't even know there was something going on.... Until I looked at my cup 😏 It has the weird logo and words in a different language, lol, I was like WTF is going on?! I usually wash the cup & use it to make a fake shake (I do this with "special" shakes like this one & the grimace one) for display or whatever at my handmade booth. I was kinda bummed & not sure if I should use that cup now, but also confused bc I didn't get what it was even about 😂
Edit to add... You CAN make your own shamrock shake, a real one lol, at home. You can find a recipe online and it's really easy. The only "special" ingredient you might not have on hand is the mint extract & green food coloring if you add it. I used to make them when my son was little & they actually tasted better, not sure why I even still buy them at Mcds, tbh 😂
excellent tip! mint chocolate chip ice cream
Good luck on the Shamrock shake that your local Micky-D's shake machine isnt broken down...again. Last time I had a Big Muck was over 20 years ago. Couldnt stand the vomit sauce they put on it and is now almost $8 (for just the sandwich) in my area.
We stopped eating at McDonald’s after Culver’s moved to town. Burgers are excellent and they have both fries and onion rings.
Cheese curds.
I love their crinkle fries. Kids get a free ice cream with their kids meals too!
Culver's is an upgrade for sure. A Culver's opened near the McD's near me not too long ago. The result, McD's added table service and upped their game in terms of pleasant employees. I've kicked all fast food to the curb about 2 years ago and haven't looked back. Sure it's more $, but it's a way way better experience.
I've heard that. Wish we lived near one.
Culver’s is really good. We just got them here in Denver a few years ago.
At first I thought it was a mirrored/misprint of the logo on my cup. I had no idea what was up lol
$7 for a Happy Meal 😂
My kids get $3.50 bundles
But really I've been making $1 burgers at home that are way tastier
McDonalds in Japan has Kirby plushy happy meals right now. America doesn't do social media right.
Tbh America isnt that into that type of stuff. Most adults dont care or even remember who Kirby is. That audience is very particular
I wouldn't mind Grimace mini plush in my happy meal
McDonald's also did Godzilla burgers too. And when I was there last May they had a Samurai burger which had a smokey sauce, and it was delicious.
McDonald's in the US market is creatively bankrupt. No ideas, no new products or risks, and they are charging more for less.

I require three things from any fast food place. 1) Fast, 2) Acceptable quality, I don't expect fast food to be fantastic, 3) it needs to be a good value. The last point, value, is the reason I hardly buy from fast food places these days.
Please pull up and wait
Honestly, the McDonald’s app is where the good deals are, not from ordering at the store.
@@Bobspineabletrue but tbf the app prices are really what the prices should be period. I mean a McChicken is $2 now. Most of their sandwiches are $7-8 without fries or a drink. You shouldn’t need to download the app and use points or a free fries deal just to get a meal for under $10 😂
You forgot ....they need to give you everything in your order.
Stop saying the ice cream machine is broken.
😂
@@SoulforSale 100% this... My place near me takes SO LONG to make any order. There will literally be 2 people in line and it takes 10-15 min just to get your food. Service now is trash
I'm in Europe, and although I saw WcDonald's ads on TV, it just really confused me. I did not even know what it was all about, barring a vague reference to sauce in the anime ads. Oddly, I went to a McDonald's for the first time in years a few days ago, and there was absolutely nothing about this promo there, either...
I havent tried the new sauce, but when i was trippin on acid and got this packaging for the first time i was confused af lol also those nuggets look way different than the ones we have here in manitoba, canada, like more batter or something
Not only is there a global McDonald's boycott going on right now, but a lot of people had already stopped going there anyway with how expensive the majority of fast food has become, and McDonald's, in their infinite wisdom, thought, "you know what would win 'em back? An anime in-joke meal. That'll do numbers!"
Dude, weebs will spend infinite monies on weeb shit.
What boycott
Is this a twitter thing
They just released a double Big Mac and I had fast food for the 1st time in a long time just to re-realize how trash their burgers taste. You know how much it pisses off a dude on a diet to break it for such trash. I shoulda got the triple cheeseburger at Wendy’s but No, I felt adventurous. Thats why I always consult this dudes video if some wild new thing comes out, he might look like a masculine lesbian, but he’s never steered me wrong. 👍🏻💯
whatever at least macdonalds taste good you cant make food as good as double quarter pound with cheese at home and 2 is only like idk like 10 bucks so maybe stop bein poor my dad is a lawyer and gives me allowence so maybe get your shit together before you make lies up macdonalds is not that much money if you cant afford macdonalds maybe get more money before u complain k
People dont care bout boycott here in america aleast they make money
I remember first meeting Review Brah at a local New York deli in 1935. Glad to see he is still doing well. Love his fast food reviews!
I heard he really enjoyd this newfangled dish of pressed minced meat between 2 pieces of bread with some onions. Although he was really not a fan of their garlickbread
ReviewBrah and I were on the same flight to Bimini, althoughbwe didn't know each other. Turns out, Tony Randall and Alan Alda were also on that flight, something about losing a prized monkey to a local tribal elder in a nasty, jungle version of canasta and coming back to get their hands on that primate.
Meanwhile, RB had what to anyone else would seem a few too many cocktails, which is saying something, believe you me. But he still jumped out of his seat and helped the ground grew drive the stairs over to the plane door, all the while complaining about the "over peppery burger and the lack of quality cheese" on the in-flight meal. And I haven't even mentioned the marshmallows or the elephant, yet.
Heckuva classy guy, that ReviewBrah. Heckuva classy guy.

Why? Everyone is broke! Cant afford $87 fast food!!!
I straight up stopped eating McDonalds 2 years ago when the prices hiked way up.,
I stopped after every one I went to mucked up my order in some way multiple times and the customer service was generally terrible. The final straw was a location taking my order on the app, confirming it and charging me, then claiming they were closed (a half hour hour early) when I went to the restaurant. The drive thru and everything looked open but the staff were all just sitting in the dining room on their phones.
Nobody eats at McDonald's anymore
Absolutely, no one
It’s because a Big Mac combo cost between $12-$18. F em
All that for a mouthful of bread and fake meat. Insane
It's 8$ where I am for a medium combo
@SomeRandomGatorFan it's not fake... 😂 sorry you can't afford mcdonalds?
people are forgetting the app usually has 25-30% off total order. so apply that and it ain't even that bad! a $12 meal is now $9
$14 last one I bought. The very LAST ONE. McD's can go suck a fat one.
Heyo Report. Been watching for ages. I love the new accent. It is very Transatlantic meets Saladfingers! Keep it up buckaroo!
Just to impress my guest into thinking I’m a big spender I’m Thinking of having my fancy wedding reception at McDonald’s
I grew up with McDonalds having a dollar menu. Double cheeseburgers were a buck. It did what it was supposed to do. Filled you up with a decent tasting burger for $1. Then Covid hit and all of a sudden McDonalds thought they were a diner. I'd leave there spending $40 and think to myself why am I spending $40 for mediocre burgers. Now I just don't go anymore. Never been happier. Fast food in general is forgetting that the reason people eat it is because its cheap. Also your apps do not count. I'm not downloading a gdamn McDonalds app to save $1 on a bigmac.
Fast food has gotten too expensive. Literally everything is expensive.
Two meals at Chili's last night was almost $50. I'm about done with all to-go chain restaurants. We still visit local Mex joints. They still have low priced food around here.
Why is that you think?
@@jmogler Inflation. Thats why.

I tried the sauce, and it was so genuinely mediocre. Even for McDonald.
I like the staff shirts for it. Ate there the other day, the fish sandwich was good, the cheese was customarily half off the bun with too much tartar sauce. But it is noticeably smaller. The double cheeseburger I had was really disappointing this time, and tasted a little off.
does anyone else just not miss mcdonald’s? had a shitty experience after paying $20+ for dinner and decided never again. haven’t craved it or had the urge to go there in over 2 years
You know I had a terrible time almost 2yrs ago probably and said nah I'm done. Too expensive and the buns are dreadful nowadays. Then about 3 or 4 months ago I got off work late, stores are closed, McDs is the only thing open my side of town so I stop in and it was excellent. I thought wow maybe they turned this around so I gave them another chance a couple weeks later. Absolute fkn garbage. So yeah I'm done and have no desire to ever try again, too.
Totes agree…..the only thing I miss is their fountain Diet Coke.
Same.... 20pc Nugget for $15, that was last time I went there. I could have just went to a real restaurant and spent less money for way way way better food.
This is actually the first time I'm hearing about this sauce... And i go there about twice a week. I was there yesterday... No promotion or in store advertising for it at all.
probably a franchise store then
I always order extra sauces and have completely looked over it on the app. It's likely just the poor design.
For the better.. the sauce is not good anyways.
Did they not have the bag in the video? That is the advertisement for the sauce
@@vortexfx420 could be
I liked the sauce, but I have no interest in being robbed by buying mcdonalds. Doesn't help that you can approximate the sauce by mixing soy sauce with spicy thai chili sauce from any supermarket, and then dip frozen nuggets from the same supermarket in it for a quarter the price. Nobody is paying attention to fast food anymore, they priced themselves right out of people's conscious thoughts.
I think the high price of all fast food has turned people off to all fast food stores.
A few months back my good friend was in the hospital. I called him, as I was on my way to visit, to ask if he'd like me to bring him anything. He said he'd like a couple of filet-o-fish, nothing special. I stopped by the local Mc's and ordered three filet-o-fish and a small fry. When they told me my bill was $18.72, I almost choked. $19 bucks for three fish and a fry??? Ok, I wasn't too happy about it, but I paid it, and went to the hospital. Got there, opened up our food, and got pissed as hell. One had tartar sauce and ketchup (who does that?), the other two were dry as a bone. To top off my dismay, each of them had a tiny half size piece of cheese and looked like it was put together frisbee style (thrown together without care). All that and the fries were scattered all over the bag and sandwiches like they just threw them in as an afterthought.
Then I remembered the sign across the street I read as I was leaving the Mc's drive-thru, "2 Whopper Juniors - $5.00". How about that?
The way I feel about McDonald's right now? They could come out with a free "all you can eat" Big Mac festival, and I'd stay home and make myself a sandwich.
I may never visit a McD's again!
Chill brother this is CZcams, not English class.
Coincidentally, we too had a friend in the hospital. She also requested a fish sandwich (without tartar sauce). Total cost including tax was $5.60. The sandwich was so small, they could almost fit two in the box. You're lucky you got a half slice of "cheese", ours was like one third of a slice. They should rename it the filet o fish slider.
Filet o fish have had only a half piece of cheese for at least the past 29 years
@bjmanzey Was just about to say lol. At least that part was done correctly
To get good value these days you have to use the apps. I can buy two quarter pounders for like $5-6 on the app. I don't because they aren't good but I could.
People can't afford to eat out. Prices for fast food are crazy high for low quality food.
A pound of ground beef, a store-brand pack of hamburger buns with lettuce and condiments is under $10. A few dollars for a sack of potatoes will give you plenty of oven fries.
Cook a pound of beans, add salsa and cheese into a tortilla for lots of burritos.
It's cheaper and much better for you to eat at home.
Bean burritos might be better for you, but for those downwind of you.
We Love Your Reviews!
It's not a big deal because it's just a sauce! Remember when green ketchup came out? No big deal!
It is time to boycott all the fast food chains. Prices have gotten ridiculous. They are still taking advantage of COVID era thinking and supply chain issues that no longer exist. No way a small side of onion rings at BK should be $4.50! Or a Big Mac for 7 bucks! Or fries for 4 or 5 bucks. STOP BUYING ALL THEIR CRAP FOR A WHILE. They'll get the idea. Or just cook and home… don’t have to worry about others touching your food and you know what you’re cooking instead of wondering what you’re eating
For 2 people at McDonald's the other week, I spent $17.79. I spend half of that at Taco Bell for the same amount of food. McDonald's was in their prime during the Early 2000's "Dollar Menu" Years. That was a major success with the public, but a major failure internally due to all of the items on that menu being "Loss Leaders". As soon as they removed the Dollar Menu, interest went down. Also, unlike Taco Bell, McDonald's doesn't have a frequent innovation schedule. All of their new items prove to be relatively boring.
It was probably much better back when they first opened in like the 70's and still used all real beef and fried in rendered beef fat.
Man where do live?! I have spent $25-30 for two people at Taco Bell in the last few months. I finally said no more. I won't support this corporate greed anymore. I worked there when burritos were 69 cents. I've had it.
But how much will we all have to pay for your colorectal cancer when you get diagnosed after never eating an unprocessed food?
Seriously?
McDonalds: I got a large fry, a cheeseburger, and a 6 piece nugget for 3.32 including rewards and promotions
Taco bell: No promotions/offers ever. $11.75 for 1 chalupa and 2 tacos.
Most the time when I get free ads for free burgers are free Friday freeze even though it's free I still don't even have enough energy to get up and go down there and get it cuz they're not that much. So I mean even giving away food don't get customers you're just going to have to endure the storm the storm.
McDonald’s just got too expensive and quite frankly the quality has been in the toilet for years now. Food is always cold and things like Big Mac you look at the patties, they are paper thin and not much bigger around than a silver dollar. Who want to pay up the bung hole for cold crappy food!?!?!? I see videos from McDonalds in other countries and food looks great.
WC means "water closet", its shorthand for toilet. In europe, bathroom doors are often marked "WC." They made toilet sauce.

Here in the states, mcdonalds has gotten quite expensive, so a lot of peeps are going elsewhere. Mcdonalds used to be the cheap alternative for fast food, so it had a lot of people going there, but that seems to be fading now thanks to the slowly increasing prices. Why go there when you can go elsewhere thats better in quality for the same price?

You took the words out of my mouth.. I thought he was gonna pull out a new burger/sandwich .. new item.. something.. all that for just a sauce.. what a joke
McDonald’s forgot their place with the middle/lower class (main demographic) you could get your quarters together and get a couple hot and spicy sandwiches to tide you over if you were broke, it was good for the price!! They’re charging more than in-N-out and that’s a decent burger with hand cut fries! It’s bs
I mean yeah, but not actually. In-n-out would easily be $30 now. Same with five guys, that shit's like a guaranteed $35 for a for two if they both get a large meal.
In-n-Out sucks.
In-N-out is better than five guys. Just wanted to point that out
