Starfield is the first new universe in over 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery.
In the year 2330, humanity has ventured beyond our solar system, settling new planets, and living as a spacefaring people. You will join Constellation - the last group of space explorers seeking rare artifacts throughout the galaxy - and navigate the vast expanse of space in Bethesda Game Studios’ biggest and most ambitious game.
Tell Your story
In Starfield the most important story is the one you tell with your character. Start your journey by customizing your appearance and deciding your Background and Traits. Will you be an experienced explorer, a charming diplomat, a stealthy cyber runner, or something else entirely? The choice is yours. Decide who you will be and what you will become.
Explore Outer Space
Venture through the stars and explore more than 1000 planets. Navigate bustling cities, explore dangerous bases, and traverse wild landscapes. Meet and recruit a memorable cast of characters, join in the adventures of various factions, and embark on quests across the Settled Systems. A new story or experience is always waiting to be discovered.
Captain the Ship Of Your Dreams
Pilot and command the ship of your dreams. Personalize the look of your ship, modify critical systems including weapons and shields, and assign crew members to provide unique bonuses. In deep space you will engage in high-stakes dogfights, encounter random missions, dock at star stations, and even board and commandeer enemy ships to add to your collection.
Discover, Collect, Build
Explore planets and discover the fauna, flora, and resources needed to craft everything from medicine and food to equipment and weapons. Build outposts and hire a crew to passively extract materials and establish cargo links to transfer resources between them. Invest these raw materials into research projects to unlock unique crafting recipes.
Lock and Load
Space can be a dangerous place. A refined combat system gives you the tools to deal with any situation. Whether you prefer long-range rifles, laser weapons, or demolitions, each weapon type can be modified to complement your playstyle. Zero G environments add a chaotic spectacle to combat, while boost packs give players freedom to maneuver like never before. - Hry

If you follow the ryujin quests first, at one point you get an operative suit which gives you 25% harder to detect so hope this helps some of y’all.
On pc with default keybindings, make sure to press caps lock to turn off auto run while sneaking, giving you lowest possible movement speed
You hero, this is exactly why I was struggling
That right there. If you don't turn caps on, a tap of the key can get you detected. With - it seems like there's a max of some sort. The bar would get almost to detection, then it would fall to zero.
I always thought I _was_ walking slowly on default when in stealth mode. But I can see how this isn't the case since I've never pressed the Caps key because I thought I was already walking. :)
You can use reconstim for this. This will reduce your noises 30%.
Also, IF you get detected - use the Novablast Disruptor (the white EM/plasma rifle). I had one section where I couldnt sneak past, maybe because I didnt level the stealth skill. I sneaked around without my spacesuit equipped (that adds to the stealth factor), and I also pressed capslock, so I was going as slow as possible. The Plasma rifle is a non lethal weapon. The scientists will run away. The only guys chasing you will be the guards. So knocking them down is an option - then run away and hide until you are not longer in combat.
Also, at the end, you can steal the keycard from Benjamin (the major of the city) in the Astra Lounge VIP room, when you have the pickpocket skill (I dont have that, so there is only so much I can tell what you will find there - I believe some compromising evidence?).
Oh, and if you have the kids trait - the one where your parents are alive - you will meet them in the Astra Lounge. The dialogue is just gold.
Great tips. Thank you. :)
Dismissing your follower is soild advice, but the devs thought of that and went ahead and did something no game dev should ever do, and that is take control away from the player, long story short I can't dismiss my follower because I'm doing thier quest.
I'm surprised the Crimson Fleet quest even works with a follower. Do the NPCs just ignore them while they talk to you?
@@karohemd2426 Yes, occasionally Your follower will chime in, and members of the Crimson Fleet will even acknowledge them.
Same. And I don’t want to finish his dumb quest first but looks like I have to now. Ugh.
Thank you so much for actually TALKING!! 😆 These youtube emo fools today used to texting so much that they forgot how to talk! But yeah again thanks for talking, makes the vid feel human and not some a.i generated strategy. 😊😊😊
Highly recommend having voidform and reconstims
This walkthrough was an absolute lifesaver! TY! Although I had to do what @Gentleman...Driver suggested and use reconstim for a time. At minute 9.30 in your video, for some reason there was an active guard at the vent and wouldn't move. Luckily it was just one of them, and I used my EM magpulse and then took off in the other vent. They finally lost me. But great video to do it without casualty!
I agree. It's a great video, but I can't see where he starts out. It looks like an area behind a kitchen, perhaps?
Yes, @gentleman......driver's tips are golden. :)
Thank you, great walkthrough
Right at the end when you're talking to Estelle get the evidence slate on the table she's facing too!
Thanks! Would have missed that one otherwise.
One thing to note before entering Beau's office is that the guards below that we just snuck past can still see us uptop, so hug the left wall and avoid the ledge
Thank you so much, man!
@Puzelle LaForte use your scanner with the mission selected and follow the arrows to the Generdyne Maintenance vent, once inside you'll see the area as is in the video. o7
Bro thank you so much :)
Thank you so very much for this video!
You're very welcome thanks for joining me
o7 CMDR Nicely done well commentated and smoothly presented, good vid o7.
Thanks! It took me one hour to do the mission and i am okey with that, since it would have taken me countless hours without the directions.
Hey, Joe, that was sweet man, I, like you didn't want to go in guns blazing and you made that nice and tidy. You, my friend, are getting a sub!! Cheers!!!
Well said, @shannobyrd. :)
Well done sir!
To the left of the elevator there was a legendary pistol.
Nope, that's rare.
Removing armor helps with the stealth meter not filling up as fast from npc’s hearing you move around.
Hey, I never thought about that, but it's true. Thanks for the tip. :)
good Video, thanks bro!
You're welcome thanks for joining me!
Thank you for a really great guide! 🙂
I am adamant on getting through the Crimson Fleet mission without any casualties. No innocent civilians die if I can help it, and that's why I'm gonna stealth through the vent system.
But I have a few questions, if that's okay...
Did you pay Yumiko's girlfriend to gain entrance to the Member's Lounge? - I decided not to, and instead want to go through the vent system. But if it can't be done that way, I'll rather know because I don't want to waste my time trying to do something that can't be done.
I've been trying to find the location where your video begins, but I haven't had any success. I have been at three different warehouses, warehouse 02, - 03, and I think the last was - 04. But none of them look exactly like what I see in your guide, and they're called warehouses, not factories.
Am I doing it wrong?
I will be _so_ grateful for any advice, so I thank you in advance! :)
side note, what outfit is that and where do you get it?
I found 3 legendary pieces of armor in the mannequin cases. Nothing I could use but could sell.
Wow!! That's about half the amount of legendaries I've found during my whole playthrough. Okay, maybe exactly half, but I really haven't found many despite playing on Very Hard most of the time.
I've watched videos that advice you to save before you open something that potentially has a legendary something in it, and that can be a challenge to know in itself. But most of all, it's time consuming, so I stopped reloading after a few missions where I tried using the technique.
I guess it's a question of preference and of how much time you have, or want, to spend on playing the game in this manner. - It'd be fun to hear from others what kind of armor they found in those mannequin cases. :)
soab where is it located
I'm not doing this quest bust found myself in it and can't get out
Is there no disguise you can get? Wanted to walk around the fishing bit without trespassing 😆
The power “sense star stuff” helps to stealth out this mission
You can get both a helmet and an armor suit which Chameleon effect which renders you invisible when you don't move, but you need to be in stealth mode/sneaking. It may also help if you use Reconstim aid as well, while you sneak around.
Other than that, I haven't heard about any kind of special disguise that you can use in this part of the Crimson Fleet mission.
Soon as i get to the last part i cant get past the entrance without setting people off... lol i had to move very slow and inch it to the door
If you're on PC you can use the console command tdetect and they won't detect you
That’s no fun. At that point just give yourself everything in the game
@negan8634 that's lame
I just got a hounding for killing them, I’m not sure if I should go back and do this, I don’t think it changes anything??
Anyway, I started blasting..
I bet that was satisfying :)
Very cool walkthrough!
Cheers for that!
My whole quest is soft locked. I can’t talk to Mika to get to the members lounge. I was having fun but with the state the game is in now just makes me want to quit it.
Key. AI is fun. Word.
Sarah likes if you say it was you.
Worst written quest in gaming history. Utter insult to everyone's intelligence.
