I initially felt that way too however if they were watching from cameras it would be easy to just see someone in a baseball cap driving a car . They didn’t have cameras directly in front of the laundry house so they didn’t see the person getting out of the car . Long story short they assumed it was Brian and to assume is to make an ASS of U and ME
You guys should do a complete story on the 9 bodies/remains authorities found while searching for Brian. They never looked for them but this manhunt for this murderer led authorities to find them.

From the moment he got back on 9/1. His parents should have contacted police when Brian showed up without her.
Brian told his parents Gabby hooked up with a rich guy and dumped him and to drive the van home. Since Gabby was out of Brian's league to begin with his parents bought it. They didn't suspect the truth until Gabby was reported missing. Then they lawyered up. My take.

Gabby was found in an open area close to the road where other people were passing by not in his bedroom.
Can you prove he murdered Gabby. Because if you can, maybe you should contact the FBI because you seem to know something that everyone else missed. Until it can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, he cannot be charged. He is the most likely person in this case, but since we don't have prove that he in fact killed her, that's why they have not filed criminal charges against Brian. Because they can't prove it. All they can prove is he stole money from her account, and that she was strangled. But the second part doesn't have enough data (that I know of) that can prove he actually strangled her and that is why the case is basically at a standstill.
If you've ever served Jury duty, you are told that you cannot act on your emotions, and you must make your decision based on the evidence that has been presented to you, with the guidence from the Judge as to what the law allows and doesn't allow, etc. That's a short version of what they tell you. Basically, assertions without proof don't hold up in a court of law. Our legal system is based on "innocent until proven guilty" [beyond a reasonable doubt]. We don't know if Brian was alone with Gabby or if someone else was present, or probably even less likely, he wander off on a walk, and she was attacked by someone else. WE don't know those details, and probably never will. However, I suspect the autopsy may have more info, as well as the van but that info is not being released to the public at least.

I think what they are trying to find out is DOES the FBI have actual proof that it was Brian that did it. You know, beyond an doubt. Because they sure didn't have enough to put out anything beyond unauthorized use of a stolen credit card. I think it's because they don't really know. And now they won't even be able to say one way or the other. This whole case is just so bizarre. They both decomposed so badly that ultimately not alot can be determined. When the contents of Brian's notebook are fully deciphered by FBI, and if Brian did not incriminate himself in the death of Gabby Petito, but alleges that he found her dead body when he returned to the campsite (a thing that perhaps is corroborated by another person's DNA on Gabby's fingernails), it would stand to reason that this may be why Brian decided to take his own life as not being able to live without her. If this should, indeed, be the case, the contents of Brian's notebook will then be withheld from the public so as not to jeopardize other leads into this continued homicide investigation.
Why would you even need to ask that question it's pretty clear Brian killed her.

The dumpster camera was installed BEFORE Sept 11-12, therefore, local law enforcement and FBI had to have had 'probable cause' (!?!?) Backyard Camara installed after Sept. 13th. Eh, it’s weird. Attorney stated he talked to Brian on the 12th and 13th but he went missing on the same day, and they reported him missing on the same day? Parents find the mustang on the 14th…Did they go to the places they knew he would be that same day? Nothing makes sense!🤯😒
There have been many instances where people missing get reported on the same day. And it is most likely that Brian told them that he won't be returning from Carlton Reserve.

Because they always do DNA. Dental records are spot on. Every one has specific jawbone and teeth. Trust me I worked for an oral surgery department of a major hospital for 10 years. I know what I am talking about.

Roberta brings back the mustang 9/15. How did she get to the reserve? If Chris drove her there, he would have opportunity to plant items. When they show her pulling into the driveway that day, I don’t think Chris’s truck was there. Can someone check this??

It was Gabby's van and it was in her name. Not theirs! Even if she had him listed as a driver on her insurance, it's not his van. He was in possession of a missing person's vehicle and NPPD is corrupt af.

As strange as it may sound, a human corpse, exposed to the elements, can be reduced to bones in only 4 weeks. When my dog died, I dragged it to a place and left it outside, exposed to the elements. When I returned there after one month, my dog was completely reduced to skeletal remains.

What's not to believe when the dental records of Brian match the dental make up of remains located in the park where Brian said he was going? Dental records and the testimony of the dentist holding the records is sufficient evidence to establish identity. It appears that his parents are satisfied that it is Brian's remains also.

I rather hear more details about her life, or more details about what is coming out of her death (the fundraising, the charity, the awareness, etc). What more could you possibly want to know about her death? What is more information really going to do for anyone right now? She was found, thankfully. Cause of death is known. The person who likely killed her is also gone. None of that brings her back. More focus on going forward, not dwelling on the negative past.

I agree 110% with what you've said, I also have the believe that the parents knew what happened to brian, why less would they drive the car back to the house if he had planned on return as claimed, no he's be dead like (only a guess) since probably Sept 14th or maybe earlier, keep in mind nobody saw him since the Sept 6th camping trip, which I believe was a goodbye family get together, for all we know he never came back to the house, after that camping trip.

North Port police dropped the ball with an epic fail and allowed their only suspect to kill himself, robbing Gabby's family and friends answers to Gabby's death. Brian was allowed to take his secrets to his grave. Great job North Port police department.
Brian may have killed Gabby, but we still are not 100% certain. When the contents of Brian's notebook are fully deciphered by FBI, and if Brian did not incriminate himself in the death of Gabby Petito, but alleges that he found her dead body when he returned to the campsite (a thing that perhaps is corroborated by another person's DNA on Gabby's fingernails), it would stand to reason that this may be why Brian decided to take his own life as not being able to live without her. If this should, indeed, be the case, the contents of Brian's notebook will then be withheld from the public so as not to jeopardize other leads into this continued homicide investigation.

Future knowledge as well as technology and techniques may be able to determine a great deal more from Brain's remains than can currently be learned. For this reason at bare minimum at least his skull should be stored permanently as evidence. It should not be returned to the family. Their reported intention is to cremate his remains.

I saw an interview with the wonderful Brian Entin and I am pretty sure he said that the surveillance cameras put up to watch the Laundrie home went up on the 11th of Sept. I would love for someone to confirm this. This would have been the day Gabby was reported missing and that the police attempted to speak with the Laundries who refused, and gave them the card for their attorney. It would be great if we could learn exactly when those cameras went up. Brian E. actually spoke to one neighbor who had the camera in their yard.

It makes sense, and coming from someone who was a special agent in the FBI, I trust her. I still think the the local PD in this case did a terrible job, and i do think there was enough ground for a search warrant on the home early on - "brian came home in Gabbys car, no one could contact Gabby. Time to forcibly speak to him, he knows something, possibly everything"

People it doesn't matter if he was being surveillanced. He was free to go about. There were no charges else they would have arrested him at his home. Brian was going to do what Brian wanted to do, until official charges were filed. Drives me nuts that people are blaming the police for letting him get away. They weren't ready to press charges.
