    I took a fall and broke both ankles, the left more severe than the right. I was given the green light to walk after 3 months in bed.I tried standing, but it hurt my left ankle so much. I have an ankle brace, but I am scared. Help !

    Hi Ask Maya! I broke my ankle in November 2018 and was eating a keto way of eating. It’s been the best for me! Swelling was reduced quickly and it’s been wonderful through all of this pain. Wasn’t easy...people bring food to help and it’s full of carbs...but I resisted and I’m doing very well!!

    Hi Maya, what did you do about the sensitivity around the injury. I just had my cast off and into a fx boot. The skin is ultra sensitive. They say it's normal but I wondered if you had any tips for relieving. TY..

    • @drmayanovak
      @drmayanovak  Před 5 lety +1

      M, desensitizing that area will help. Gently start touching it and then rubbing it, using different materials. Baby steps. xx
