No it's the Ki43 that's magic, the thing can easily compete with and outmatch 3.3 planes while its rating is 2.3, the only downsides are an average speed and stupid high roll rate which would make Fw190 and Sabres cry but also makes it impossbile to aim at 400kph+.
It's a weird thing in short.
It's not that hard to 3v1, even 4v1 against (much) worse turning-planes if they all play it completely incorrectly and turn all the same instead of extending and making passes from different directions. It's like fighting one plane if they all fly the same.

@@Tacticaviator7 You forgot the shitty rudder, mid dive speed, akward gun placement and low ammo count (though the guns do, admitidly, shred since the buff).

@@battleship5555 due to covid his work has been extra tough so he was getting 60-80 hours of work a week, 1-2 days off a month if he was lucky

@@Mucdaba He Hasn't really been in any of Bo's vids since before covid. He returned for the Far cry 4 vids, but thats about it since his original leaving.
If i remember correctly, he original left because people were getting nasty with him for his temper, but we have to remember he's been the voice of reason in what is the TBLF squad.
@@battleship5555 I don't know all the details, but he either had some kind of accident at work or (more likely) a heart attack. Either way all I know know is that his heart stopped and one of his co-workers had to bring him back.

the p39 is 200km/h faster than the i153 and has way better energy retention though. the biplane just climbs faster at low speed.
realistically, attackers or bombers could just ground pound and completely ignore the biplane because of how slow it is

It's been way too long since Cobey was on here. Now we just need to get back Gaff, Coffee, Shadow, and bring in Bear more often and the full squad will have returned.

I don't know what it was, but your banter with each other was incredibly entertaining in this vid.
Some facts about the P39, the p39 war originally going to have a turbocharger similar to the one on the B17+P38(hence the mid engine), but it is unknown why they removed it. (Source:Greg’s airplanes and Automobiles)
The most likely reason that i've heard is that, they removed the turbocharger because the one that manufactured the turbochargers doesn't yet have the materials to make them
Seems like they have the same problems with other planes that is planned to be powered by the Allison's
It's great to see Cobey and his friendly kill-stealing antics and great sense of humour again. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

It's great to hear cobeys voice again. I still remember playing with Bo, Cobey and Moe a couple of times in 2016 and 2017. Love the current crew but I the older crew members would make an appearance a little more often, I miss them.

That Ki-43 was one hell of a pilot
Ki 43 III has the best airframe, acceleration, turn rate and roll rate amongst all the planes I've ever flown, you can't dogfight against it, at least if it's not 1v3. I've seen players just hit the ground instead of fighting me, like on sight turning to ground immediately. The only downside is very low ammo count you can't kill more than 4 with it reliably.
A friend of mine showed me this video 5 months ago and told me I was in it, sure enough I was there in the first few minutes of the video not my best game in the ki43 but I did mange well. Good game Bo forgot to mention that in the chat while we were dogfighting just simply one of the best fights I've been in wish to battle you again soon!!
