It is amazing how far and wide that myth has spread. I first heard if you pluck out one grey hair 4 will return in its place when I was a child from my mum. Fast forward to this year where my 25 year old assistant says the same thing.
When I turned 31 I suddenly started aging rapidly. My skin became very textured around my t zone and I developed bags under my eyes as well as several prominent patches of grey hair. I actually don’t mind the greys I kind of like them, but the texture is so different from the rest of my hair they’re so wiry and brittle and they break off with heat so now they’re short spikes! Why has Mother Nature cursed me so young lol
Can you debunk the myth that if you go outside after showering you'll catch a cold? I think a whole generation of Caribbean kids grew up hearing that from their parents. 😂
Us Canadian kids heard it too. About 20+ years ago I saw this topic on Bill Nye the Science Guy and he said being cold doesn’t make one sick, viruses and germs do. However, if one is cold and is crosses paths with a virus, the lower body temperature may make a person more susceptible. At least this is how I remember it.

I pluck my grey bunghole hairs. I use a mirror, tweezers, tongs and a wedge.
