Yes, sometimes I'm asking myself - why doesn't the ski resort flatten them! But, of course, Alpental is so difficult that no machine can get up there.

Unfortunately, my battery was dead when I did a run on Gun Barrel, and it was very dangerous - the steepest and narrowest part (46 degrees steepness according to Fatmap app) was ice-covered rocks with barely any snow on top. And no way back or around. And very steep with deep powder downhill. So falling on those steep rocks would bring me down to get stuck in powder. It was scary! Fortunately, I was able to scrape down. The skis need some service this season.
