- More than an hour of the much anticipated ski music to relaxing powder ski footage all shot in Idaho, filmed and skied by Dan Noakes. If you need your skiing fix while you are stuck at home, at the office, hanging out with friends, chill and relax to this mix of lofi hip hop while watching relaxing powder ski POV footage. This video includes 1 hour of relaxing backcountry powder skiing footage. Watch the whole thing or have it playing in the background. Memorizing ski footage that will make you feel like you are skiing right beside me. This chillhop and lofi hip hop mix was all filmed during the winter of 2022/2023 in Idaho in the Payette and Boise National Forests.

This has gotten me so excited for skiing in North America. I live in London, UK at the moment but I'm moving out to Squamish in January. Can't wait to find places like this and experience the crazy amounts of snow that sadly we no longer get in the Alps.

Are you out in the backcountry alone in most of these clips? Most of the terrain looks relatively low risk, but I was just curious. I've been tempted to go out alone because it's so hard to get a group together.

Do you ever do a “gear check” video? Running through what you use.
I spent last winter in La Grande, OR and got some powder turns in behind Anthony Lakes resort. Not too far from where you are.
I don’t usually do gear check videos. I’m not that into gear so I feel like I don’t have that much to say about it.

Where did you end up at the end of the video?
Are these surface skis what width?
They are about 120's or maybe even 130's I would have to check.

None of this was filmed at a resort so they don't have names. All backcountry.

nah. It is not looped. Every run is different. Just some is the same location. All different runs, not looped.
Is this comment a joke of some kind? Really clearly not looped. The weather changes so much, and you can even see the lines skiied previously!
