- Hi there! After a long freezing cold stretch, a gift from god - a 60 degree day in late January!. Obviously, some noise had to be made! Had to do this quick, after work, before the sun went down. Had no helmet at work, I know, tsk tsk, shame on me, but needed to grab the moment. Did I mention that this thing GOES :-)

Arguebly the most desirable engine to build a custom bobber/chopper around, though using the enfield chassis really does work well & is extremely aethsthetic (forgive my spelling)

I hope RE is paying attention to this genius, they should make a whole V-twin division with this guy as chief engineer, this gentleman has found the added grunt and new soul that RE could capitalize on, would definitely make the brand more attractive.

No, is backfiring as most 4-stroke carburettor engines do. When accelerating it sounds good.

I did not know such a bike existed .. noisy mechanics when idiling but seems to GO ok,what bhp is it. I owned a 700cc 1953 Royan Enfield METEOR a vertical twin,the first vertical twin i think was a great engine lots of low end torque but it did break a crankshaft the later crankshaft was modified and strengthened must have been an early problem..Would like to see India make the twin which became the constellation in England in the late 1960,s 70,s.I am sure it would sell well. The last of the 700cc Meteor engines ended up in the INDIAN in USA.
