- Since a number of people asked for it, here goes. Enjoy.
I also give a list of steambendable woods I was successful with:
walnut, red gum/satin walnut, maple, rosewood, apple, cherry, plum, pear, chestnut, bocote, black locust, oak, ash.

I love watching you build guitars. I want to thank you for adding voice overs to your videos. Much more informative than watching you work in silence.
I think there are a lot of people that don’t really comprehend what goes into making a Guitar by hand, and think they’re “overpriced” at times. They prob have an image of machines making them in a factory.
This was super in depth, amazing work, and overall an enjoyable watch. That’s a gorgeous piece of work!
You basically gave away your hearts work for a good cause!
The skills on display here are pretty incredible, thank you so much for sharing your work, its really inspiring.
Amazing... Absolutely top shelf work. Thank you very much for sharing this! $600 is a steal for this level of build. You've really done a public service.
Thoroughly enjoyable video that is packed with: innovation, cleverness, expertise, and humility. Thank you!
This is what CZcams was meant to be in the beginning. To shown craft skills that actually make things.
YES! I love that.
I remember those days.
Yep…

I enjoy your builds so much - I always feel that what you are showing is so understandable. This video with voice over was no exception, just full of why and how you do each step. The joy you bring to people through your builds, has to be greatly rewarding. Again thank you for sharing!!!
You're welcome
My jaw dropped when you mentioned the price you asked. Some students are getting the deal of a lifetime. These are quite possibly the best looking standard, non-premium acoustics I've seen in my life. Well done. Just... well done. If I lived in Deutschland I'd be seriously pestering you for guitar making tuition!
Gabriele it is a privilege to watch you work. Beautiful guitar and I appreciate your conservationist philosophy and interesting combination of old and modern methods.
You do extraordinarily beautiful work on those Guitars!! And to sell them for the price you did! Wow!! You know you could make allot of $$ building and selling “Hand built” guitars… I know if I was able to, I’d definitely buy one!
I absolutely love the use of repurposed lumber. The aged sound it produces when done with your craftsmanship is fantastic. Thank you for giving us a look into the artisan skill you have.
That is an absolutely lovely guitar! And it shows that you don’t have to use fancy woods to build a great instrument, very inspiring. Thank you
Thank you SO much for taking the trouble to add your commentary. I have worked with wood, in a cabinet-maker's shop, before; and I consider myself fortunate to have had that job AFTER 20 years as a Handyman/wood-butcher. So I was able to appreciate the beauty of the wood working. I'm glad to learn of your view on finishes, too - I agree that wood should be sealed but able to breathe somewhat. Now, I like an electric guitar to gleam like a show-car, but for acoustics, the sound is more important; and finishes can be touched up or renewed.
Love the video with the added voiceover. Very interesting.
The headstock overlay "sandwich" is genius. Decorative, beautiful instrument with a wonderful warm tone. Bravo!
Gabriele Réti You are so gifted. Thank you for all your hard work in bringing to us your Art. This in my opinion is Art . Not just an awesome Craft.
Thank you for another excellent display of your talent.
Fantastic skill as always Gabriele. Thank you
This is beyond AMAZING. Blessings to your talents.
Absolutely beautiful guitar build. Love the look feel and sound of this guitar. You make it look so easy.
Just beautiful. Great sound too. Very rich. You play well also. Thank you for sharing.
Watching you work without commentary is very meditative, but your commentary adds another dimension to your video. I like both.
Wonderful, as usual. Thanks for adding your commentary - it really helps viewers to understand what you're doing and why. You're fast becoming very proficient at this CZcams game!
Absolutely Love this video, thank you for sharing your craft.!
Amazing build, love your style and signing while working. 😄
I love this guitar. Good sound and Amazing wood work.
Beautiful as usual! Thank you for sharing!
Wow ! Thanks for taking the time to make this video . I found it very therapeutic .
Always nice to watch a build....and the whistling whilst you work. I really dig the bridge clamp. Simple, smart, elegant solution. ✌️
Sounds amazing!! Great work!!
Nice, thanks for sharing. Lovely sound at the end which was great to hear.
Yahoo! You're inspiring me to another build. I've made one before which turned out well but it's wonderful to watch what you do. Thank you.

You play very well, you are a excellan craftspersonf and that guitar has a beautiful tone. Well done. Keep on smiling.
It sounds as good as it looks.!
a beautiful musical instrument,Perfect
I’ve made a number of acoustic guitars, dreadnoughts, jumbo and a small bodied guitars from old pianos (some over 100 yrs old) which people are happy to give away. They have lots of spruce in the soundboards though in varying qualities of grain patterns. I have used the woods from the piano sides which are often birch or polar for guitar sides which are softwoods. Even though they sound very good I came to the realisation that hard woods are needed for strength of the soundbox plus the reflective properties of hardwoods like mahogany, rosewood etc. that contribute to their sonic properties. Making guitars is like making a cake, you use all the best ingredients but don’t know how it tastes until you hit the first chord. 😀
Your mic most definitely isn't doing Justice To absolutely Your beautifully Made Guitar & Choice Woods, I'm Very Happy It Turned Out So Amazing, It's Subtle But That In My Opinion Has Ticked Every Box For Less Is Definitely More In This Perfect Example, And You Reclaimed The Wood Too, 10 out 10
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank For Sharing Your Passion It's Very Rewarding & Refreshing 😃👍🙏🌹
Thanks for your kind words. I think it's rathe the XY pattern, which I found not to like much for recroding guitars, but that's what I used for this video.
The requested commentary works well, thanks for the extra effort!
Your skills are impressive. Thanks for sharing this video.
Wonderful approach and skilful execution.
Very nice guitar! I really enjoy your videos and beautiful workmanship. 😊
That’s beautiful! I want one. You make it look so easy that I could do it. I’m sure I would fail.but one day I will. Is encouraging seeing you do it with minimal tools. Thanks!
gabriele that was a realy nice job i enjoyed not only the video but your workmanship and your music thank you very much, and good luck with your fund raising.
Wonderful work, pretty interesting video and I love the fact that you sing while working
😄

Üdv Réti Gabriella, nagyon jó videó, köszi! :-)
Beautiful job!!!
Thank you for this video - The guitar turned out beautifully and it sounds great. It was really interesting to hear your commentary on the build. It is wonderful to be able to see such craftsmanship.
Thanks.
I've always enjoyed watching your ASMR vidéos.... But making them with a voice over wow ! Loved it
And you are just a great skillefull guitar maker... All the best from Algeria❤️
A very nice video! I actually learned almost everything I know from guitar building from Ben :)
It was so satisfying and relaxing to watch the video. I hope to build my own guitar one day soon. Thank you!
Very nice good commentary and info. More like this
beautiful Guitar.. Very well done.
That thing is absolutely amazing & her craftsmanship impeccable!
Now I question as to where I could possibly get me meaty paws on one in western West Virginia.
That tone is so deep and richly inspiring to say the least! ❤️
Well, if you follow my builds of the GGB0 2023 for the Invitational category, there's the chance of winning one in the Daily Guitar Draw.
Apart from that I'm thinking of building two mor eguitars for another raffle...
Sounds fantastic.
Gabriele, I came across your channel today. I myself have been repairing and building guitars for 25yrs, just as a hobby. Your skills and the effort you put into your guitars is truly inspiring. You are a true luthier.. I would feel honoured to own one of your guitars. Love and best wishes from🇬🇧
Hi there. Thanks for the kind words, you make me blush. But I'm just a hobby builder like you, who loves working with wood and I like guitars, so I just combine the two in my free time. Can I see your work anywhere? I'm always up for inspriation. God bless from Germany.
Amazing work!
guitar for the typical guitar player. I loved!
Your English is remarkable 👍👍😎 the guitar built in excellent too 🎸😍😍😍🎸👍🎸👍🎸👍
Very gifted artist. Most builders would do well to take an efficiency course from you.
You are very skilled.
You are my new hero.
same tonal qualities as high end guitars excellent work thanks for posting you should get big money for that easy
Well, in the video you hear for much I gave it away. It was supposed to be affordable for students.
The voice over is great! I play around with guitar building for my own personal use. I use laminated spruce for my necks with carbon graphite rods for extra rigidity. Makes for an extremely light weight guitar! Please keep up your postings..
Very nice box with wires on it. JERRY ROSA, JIM OLSON, AND YOU, SURE ENJOY YOUR WORKS.
Wonderful job!
Very cool congratulations. Greetings from Hungary!
An amazing build . I particularly like your work with hand tools. It already sounds good as to the age of the recycled woods. Well done, once again , Gabriele, and you sold them so cheaply. Also, I don't know what the voice 0vr means but your English is perfect. Thank you.
A very talented lady👍
You absolutely did one hell of a job on this. It really turned out beautifully and sounds fantastic.
I most definitely hit the like button and subscribe. Looking forward to watching more from you.
Absolutely fantastic guitar and for €500 the New owner has a bargain. Well done for giving that wood a second purpose that has true meaning and passion rather than land fill or fire wood 👍
Sound is awesome...i love it verry much
Ótima Luthier! Trabalho e arte muito bem feito! Lindo violão e com ótimo som. Saudações do Brasil!
Excellent. This video is going to help me tremendously. I build ukuleles and I have learned a lot from watching this video. I have a lot of new ideas now.
Great.
Watching your work has inspired me to finish up a couple projects that have been hanging around for far too long. I've made some mistakes as I've moved along but half the learning is fixing your mistakes. Keep up the videos!
Hey, I compeltely agree the making mistakes and learning from them. What I love about working with wood is that basically almost every mistake can be fixed. Keep on going. Can we see some of the products?
Thank you for the commentary. It makes it even better!
That wood looks very nice to work with.
