Speed Queen is made in America in Wisconsin I believe. Those are the same ones I bought two years ago and it was hands down the best decision not to buy junk that only lasts 7 years. The old Whirlpool and Maytags lasted over 50 years sometimes. They just kept going and going. Donald Trump's slogan to Make America Great Again is talking about that kind of high-quality and high standards.

Speed queen all day! Or if you can find a refurbished whirlpool direct drive would be your best option. Stay away from all front loaders!
