I like the detail that when Venom comes out, he circles around Eddie’s head in a fairly painless way, but when Carnage comes, he twists into Cletus’s head with no regard for the human inside.

@@joshthemartian7419 their physical bond may be stronger, but it doesn’t mean that Carnage has any real love for Cletus. He craves blood, just like Cletus does, and it gives them something in common, so they aren’t fighting in motivation as much as Eddie and Venom are, but Carnage would just as quickly rip Cletus inside out if he had a better option than him, just for the fun of it.
Remember, Venom actually likes Eddie, because on his planet, Venom said he was a loser, too, so he saw himself in Eddie.
Carnage on the other hand, just like Cletus, has no regard for human life. So, his host means very little to him, but is really just a means to an end.

It's great how visibly grotesque carnage transforming is. Venom literally just forms around like a suit where carnage rips out from the body

Well Eddie does point out that Carnage, while physically compatible with Cletus, isn't in sync with him. We can see that when Carnage slaps Shriek and Cletus tries to pull away from Carnage to check on her. Their violent transformation is probably meant to symbolize that.

I wish they could've explained why Venom freaked out when he saw that carnage was a red symbiote.
From the 1st movie, he was also scared of Riot, this is because Venom doesn’t have the same abilities as them.

Supposedly offspring symbiotes are much much stronger than their parents and I read somewhere that red symbiotes had a blood bond making it stronger giving them to ability to split the host apart without killing them

I really like how they make sure that the audience really sees just how much damage he can do. Like in the first movie venom (2018) I love how when he climbs up the buildings and breaks parts of it. It’s really cool and really well detailed

Yeah! In the movies basically Venom body slams and outmoves their opponents by being smart and use momentum to make his hits stronger, and also seems like he tries to down them and continuously not let them get up cause otherwise the battle would swith roles
Actually the weakness part is wrong. Carnage in the comics and far more resilient to sound or fire than Venom and Toxin(Carnage's son) is far more resilient than Carnage.
A Symbiote spawn is always stronger and better, except in the case of the Life Foundation Symbiotes who in the comics were forcibly extracted from the Venom Symbiote so they weren't naturally made like Carnage.

To everyone who doesn't know, according to the comics, venom is one of the most weak symbiotes(idk how he managedto survive everytime and he even killed knull). Its a fact that the offspring of a symbiote is stronger than himself...which is why carnage was so powerful compared to venom but he dies in a shameful way(venom eats him lol). And the offspring of carnage is toxin and the first host of toxin was Patrick mulligan who was also showed in this movie and he got powers at the end when he saw his blue eyes so we may get to see toxin in venom 3.
Btw knull(the God of symbiotes), anti venom and the hybrid are 3 other powerful symbiotes which aren't mentioned in the movies yet.

I like how the Venom movies subvert normal superhero tropes. Eddie constantly acts like he's on the verge of a breakdown and reacts believably to crazy life-threatening scenarios
The fact that venom feared carnage and went inside of eddie than in the first venom film he wasnt like that, This implies that carnage might be stronger than riot and more terrifying to fight against
