  • In this video, I will be shooting the awesome S&W 327 N 357 Magnum. I will be demonstrating the difference in recoil from 38 special and 357 Magnum. You will see the difference in recoil between the 2 calibers. This awesome little snub nose revolver, has a titanium cylinder and scandium aluminum frame, which makes it extra strong. Check out my page for other cool videos links below.

      Barrel length matters. You can get more barrel for the same length and more capacity with something like a Ruger LCP Max.

    Not much for short barreled magnums...
    At least a minimum of 3.5 inch...
    Brutally load. As in a block of sound, that will humble you.
    In a hight stress occasion, you'll just hear distant pops, thanks to " auditory exclusion",
    as your body adjusts , making eye sight the most prevalent sense.
    You also experience " tachsychia(?),
    Where everything slows, as your mind is racing!
    Anyway, magnums are loud, even out of a six inch barrel!

  • @keithmohrhoff7443
    @keithmohrhoff7443 Před dnem

    Short-barreled handguns are generally close quarters weapons. Very few close quarters engagements go beyond 3 rounds-especially with such a large caliber. That said, I would prefer that firearm with a longer barrel and a deeper rear notch sight.

He had a revolver, 6 shot if I remember correctly. He ended up running out of bullets and I don't think it ended well for him. Though for some reason he was taking leg shot's, he shot 2 of them in the legs and kinda wasted the rest of his shots Wich yes more range time indeed. Point is you never know what can happen. Always drive gun with dominate hand. If you warm up your recoil hand just like in a firearms class (your off hand). You can manage much better. You should feel as stable as doing a push-up.
    Have a friend shake your hand before shooting. Have them try to turn is left and right. Up and down tilt. Apply that resistance to shooting that firearm. Firm. Direct. Controlled. You will only feel a slight difference. 🫡

    What is the point of shooting a 357 mag let alone a 38. Spl out of a damn near 1 inch barrel, for those that don't know a 357 as well as the 38 both need longer barrels id say at least 4inches or more in order to effectively burn off all that gunpowder and get the full load and advantages of having all that gun powder , increaseing velocity, and overall power of those calibers as tgey were meant to be

    • @Mr.Madness1
      @Mr.Madness1  Před 28 dny +1

      @Mr.Madness1 idk what experience you have .I've owned a couple .38 snubs usually 2in barrels sum 1 3/4 and ill tell you rite now they are for upclose and personal the accuracy on those things suck at 20 yards or more , my mom tested her taurus 38 and the glock 27 .40 cal and not only was her accuracy way better with the glock she even said it it was alot smoother to shoot because38 snub hurt her hand and the recoil was alot for her i couldnt imagine 357 mag loads out a tiny sub like that,it wouldnt b my choice for self protection you never know what distance things can happen n all im saying i want to b able to accurately hit targets 25+ yards away if needed and it kind of defeats the purpose of haveing a magnum which would be to get the full power and velocity magnums have to offer,short barrels waste off the powder thus taking away from you velocity and overall power u might. As well, just get a 38 snub with +p ammo. The only benefit of this is the 8 shot capacity.... I'd say bare minimum 3inch or 4inch to get decent accuracy and still get some of the fire power benefits of a magnum round, kinda like buying a 10mm in a subcompact size and only to shoot the lightest factory 180gr 10mm loads which are what the .40sw was created from , might as well buy a .40 in that case if your not going to utilize what the 10mm has to offer which as you know are super hot bear loads that can drop anything that walks, last thi g idk if its me but that sw revolver personally just looks ugly to me , on the same level as those rhino revolvers lol i love me a beautiful 4inch , at smlllest 3 inch SW 686 357 or Sw629 .44 mag. Or colt pythons, anacondas and cobras , now those are beautys
