I also think if the other members of the gang are just kinda there in this then they should of been teased to appear in the second film instead. Since so much of this movie seems to be focused on Shaggy and Scoob. Then in the future they could focus more on the other characters and also incorporate more nods to other works by Hanna Barbera. I had no idea this was the start of a universe full of these classic cartoon characters. If it really is then i could see the gang being the ones to mesh everything together.

Hollywood making a movie that would be the first installment of a cinematic universe...
...BECAUSE CLEARLY WE DON’T HAVE ENOUGH OF THOSE!!!

Making a cinematic universe like this is folly. They should have just made a good Scooby Doo movie first to gauge interest and then played around with the idea in a sequel. By good Scooby Doo movie I mean: interesting mystery plot that lets the characters all have moments that show off their strengths as characters and fun interactions with each other that makes us want to see more of them together. That doesn't mean all 5 need to be quippy, in fact each person should interact with each other differently, but overall WB just has to sell us on the chemistry. Then go ahead and run it into the ground in a sequel if you please, but one good movie is not impossible.

Is it? There's no definitive argument for how to make a cinematic universe because there hasn't been enough attempts yet.

God first he's a saipan with ultra instinct now he's the Doomslayer. Geez Shaggy is an overpowered hero. Whats next, is he gonna have a talking dog sidekick and fight crime?

Frank Welker was actually in the original series but he voiced Fred, he voiced Scooby in this.

Honestly the intro to the vid makes me want a Scooby-Doo doom crossover. Just imagine: *SCOOBY-DOOM*

0:05 I just got off playing Doom 1993 on my Switch before I clicked the video, and then I’m greeted to a Doom reference. What a coincidence!

Scoob looks like a big budget version of those weird CZcams kids animations or Disney jr shows
Edit: overwatch Velma still haunts me

seeing Blue Falcon decked out in captain america's feather suit just made me want a movie about him and a movie about birdman and space ghost and the herculoids as well. I'd be down for that. scooby doo i couldn't give a rats ass less about even if i tried.
